Vengeance LPX memory is designed for high performance overclocking. The heat spreader is made of pure aluminum for faster heat dissipation, and the eight layer PCB helps manage heat and provides superior overclocking headroom. Each IC is individually screened for performance potential. The DDR4 form factor is optimized for the latest Intel 100 series motherboards and offers higher frequencies, greater bandwidth, and lower power consumption than DDR3 modules. Vengeance LPX DDR4 modules are compatibility tested across 100 Series motherboards for reliably fast performance. There's XMP 2.0 support for trouble free automatic overclocking. And, they're available in multiple colors to match your motherboard, your components, or just your style.

***MAKE SURE TO UPDATE BIOS TO LATEST FIRMWARE/BETA*** You will not be able to reach these speeds without updating! Latest bios update fixes any sort of ram speed problems!
I got this set at a great price a few months back in anticipation for this latest build. This particular set is for an ITX system. For this build I went with a white theme so naturally I wanted white RAM, and I didn’t want tall RAM either. This Vengeance LPX kit was the perfect fit for my needs and it looks great in my system. It is paired with an Intel i5-7500 and an EVGA GTX 960 FTW ACX 2.0 4GB, and I get great system performance. This kit is also easy to set to its rated speed of 3000MHz; you simply go into your bios on start-up (hit F2 and Delete) then enable XMP and it should automatically set to 3000MHz depending on your motherboard. If not head to advanced settings, and then to AI Tweaker (Asus motherboards), and set your RAM to its rated speed, so 3000HMz for this set, then save your settings and exit. It’s an easy process and allows you to use the full potential of your RAM, I have yet to have a problem setting any of my Corsair RAM to its rated speed.
So for those of you looking for a great kit of RAM look no further. Corsair has many ‘flavours’ of RAM, and all sorts of colors so there’s something for everyone. I swear by Corsair’s ram and highly recommend this product to anyone interested!

I never thought it would happen but this ram is giving random errors! It would blue screen over and over and over and over again (each time with a different error code). I ran a ram test and it showed up fine so this was HORRIBLE to diagnose the issue. It was causing failures to drivers, opening the windows store would bluescreen and reboot the system. At one time it rebooted 10 times in an hour!
I had 16gb extra kicking around (also corsair) and swapped out the ram. It's going on 2 days now without a single reboot. Stress tests aren't killing the machine anymore. So this ram is the culprit. I've literally got 8 machines running corsair ram right now all working great but different models than this one. I would have rather had it just die completely and an easy to diagnose problem.
Not able to boot at 3200 (YET) - but I'm sure that functionality will come over the next month or two. For the budget price for this pair, it's 100% worth it to buy and wait for the extra 267mhz. Certainly better than paying $250+ for B-die that will become irrelevant shortly anyways.
Purchase with confidence!

Out of the box, you'll expect, and might be confused, as to why the RAM is running at 2133MHz. This is pretty standard. So you'll definitely need to go into your UEFI BIOS and select "XMP Profile 1" to ensure it's running at its best. It might vary on how/where you need to enable that. But I've decided to attach some images from my BIOS.
Since I don't have other DDR4 to compare this to, I can't offer benchmarks. All in all, it's low profile, and even if it isn't RGB--it still looks great.
