Austin is the fourth and final Good Ol' Boy and boy was he worth the wait.

The youngest and the rebel of the boys Austin & Briggs' story is both heartbreak and breathtaking. M Robinson knows how to pack every emotion into a story. Love, hate, you name it,one minute you want to throw your kindle next you want to hug it close.

Both Austin and Briggsare beautifully broken and lost in life lead by incidents from their pasts so different, yet the same, they have an all consuming, all loving relationship. You feel they love each other so much, maybe too much that they "enable" each other's need, wants, addictions - craving each other.

"And our love is just as f******g toxic".

Briggs is one of the strongest characters I've read,to go through all she did, with such bravery and strength make it heartbreaking to read what she gone/goes though and to come back brighter and stronger.

Austin is such a harrowing character to read,to be so lost and lonely, even when surrounded by people who love you, to be stubborn and to see him struggle with his feelings, his addictions and what he did was just so sad. Knowing when you hit rock bottom you have to learn to love and forgive yourself before you can heal, and apologies to the loved ones you've hurt the most.

You can't help but love Briggs and Austin together, they met by chance and that was all it took to meet your soulmate, your life and your chance of true happiness. But it's true, you always hurt the one you love the most.

"Dead or alive. You're mine"

Even though each Good Ol' Boy is a standalone, it's always good to revisit others again and get events from another perspective and it makes me want to read the series again, the signs of good writing that will never leave you. It's sad when you see the end of series, but what a way to finish.

I received this book in return for my honest opinion.

So I just finished the book and I've been sitting here for the past 45 minutes absorbing every emotion I've been reading and going through. I say this because the way everything is written, you are captivated and in being so, you literally feel what the characters feel.

So many ups and downs and being someone who has not had an easy life... It's crazy how you can relate to this story one way or another. Addictions, sex, betrayals, loss.. It's all there!

I've never read anything from this author before but since reading this book, I'll definitely be looking for more. I'll be recommending this book to many people and I'm encouraging you to give it a read!

A little heads up though.. I think for some people it can a little raw, especially if they have gone through similar events. I for one have suffered many losses (parents, child)and fought my own addictions with alcohol, and it brought me back to certain times in my life, which made this book even more powerful for me. But it also gives you encouragement in a weird way.. Lol

Enjoy the read!

Wow where to begin!!! M Robinson's writing is beyond AMAZING!! The power, emotion, angst, and feels were a home run!! This book LITERALLY gutted me!! I balled my eyes out!! Have a tissue or ten ready!!

I felt soooo many feeling and emotions while reading. I knew this book would be raw and a complete eye opener about Austin and Briggs!! I was a little shocked and surprised by a few turns of events!! M definitely keep me on my toes!!

Austin is perfectly imperfect. A southern sweetheart with a bad boy side! He keeps everything bottled up and it only build and builds. After his accident with Alex his life spirals out of control. He leaves and his world is flipped upside down! He has a family and the good ol' boys but all they seem to do is hurt him more. He can't seem to speak up. Instead he walks away.

Briggs is beautifully broken and an angel and devil. Good and bad. Her past keeps her distant and closed off. One day forever changed her life and she never healed from it. She is a loner and only has her uncle. Beautiful and not afraid to be herself.

Angst, love, and heartbreak all throughout. A connection and chemistry from the first instant. Life and events have a way of getting in the way. Regrets and past mistakes make it difficult to completely forgive. Falling victim to inner demons and drugs stand to break down all they created. The drugs, the deals, the sex, lies, and past problems all stand in the way of a future. A ticking time bomb of sorts. Will they screw it up and lose what they have come to love and can't live without. Does true love exist and can love heal all? Are soulmates real? Can the past be forgiven?

It is hard to put into words how much I loved this book and all of the emotions it made me feel. My words can not do this book justice. This is one of those books that stay with you for a long time after you read it. To say it made me cry is and understatement, at times I was crying so hard it was hard to read through the tears. At times I was emotionally devastated and drained. I loved this story because it made me feel so much and I felt like I personally knew Briggs and Austin. M.Robinson is such a talented author with the ability to make you feel so much, you can tell she puts her heart and soul into her writing. I love her books but this one is my favorite and I'm still recovering from Austin's story. Don't miss out on this book, it is a 5+ stars. I don't want to give out any spoilers, all I can say, is read it and feel it for yourself. It is part of the Good Ol' Boys series but it can be read as a stand alone. I was one of the lucky ones to be gifted a copy for a fair and honest review.
