This clock does not seem to recognize our timezone (Atlantic). Everytime we manually change it to our correct time, after a few hours it changes, so it is always one hour off. the DST button does not seem to help. it may change to the correct time for a short period, but them it always changes back to eastern time zone.
SO ANNOYING!

I just love this clock; I bought the 12" version about seven years ago and it is still going strong. You can't go wrong.

HASH(0xa10585ac) out of 5 stars Some Adjustment Required April 9 2014
By Amazon Customer - Published on Amazon.com

Have bought 10 of these so far to use in our business. About half have needed some extra adjustment or reassembly. Two had multiple standoffs broken and screws missing holding the back on requiring some extra adhesive. Overall a nice looking clock and very easy to read, but the chances of getting a lemon are pretty high. Batteries seems to be lasting about a year as well, so the idea of not having to deal with resetting clocks on a regular basis isn't what I had hoped. Because of the number I have ordered, I've gotten through three different vendors so the problems sit with the manufacturer.

HASH(0xa10587d4) out of 5 stars Dissatisfied Dec 5 2013

I bought two of these clocks. One clock set itself fine to the correct time. The other one took several days to self-set to the correct time. After two months, the second hand on one of the clocks has stopped working. I am now convinced that they are not high-quality and over-priced.

HASH(0xa1058a38) out of 5 stars Quality Control? Sept. 11 2014
By woodiwesley - Published on Amazon.com

This clock arrived with two of the three clock hands not affixed to the clock motor drive shaft. The two hands were sealed inside the clock face cover. What kind of quality control for a major clock manufacturer? I will not buy another La Crosse Tech clock again.

Got this to replace a classroom/shop clock at a university and it is a giant compared to the one it replaced. Easily seen and clearly marked without any ornamentation it is professional looking a easy to read from anywhere. It had been banged around during shipping apparently and two of the arms had fallen off, but I replaced them myself (it was easy to open up) and then are fine. Once open I realized that it would be easy to place a decal or name on the face to personalize this item, although openning it up probably voids the warranty. But the warranty is so short (ironically on a clock) that it really doesn't matter.
Clook keeps prefect time and resets it self nightly, so as a clock it is perfect.

Yes, I did read the reviews before I ordered, and I saw there were more "one-star" reviews than "five-star" reviews. But, I crossed my fingers and ordered it anyway. I was really hoping for a good result--I wanted this to work, but it didn't. When I inserted the battery, the hands began spinning non-stop. (The instructions say to check the battery voltage if this happens--I did, and the battery was fine.)

Also, the clock hands are misaligned. The hour hand is half-way between two hour numbers whenever the minute hand is on the twelve. That would probably would be an easy fix, but it would involve opening the case, and that would void the warranty. Oh well, I've initiated a return request. I'm hoping at least that will work out OK.
