Before buying this machine, I read many reviews, and the only negative comment that kept coming up was that the unpopped kernels are ejected from the machine. Reading this, I thought to myself, "well of course a few unpopped kernels always find their way out of the machine..." And then I used my product for the first time. Yup, now I get it. The product is not well designed in the sense that the hot air comes from the bottom of the compartment rather than the sides, so a large amount of unpopped kernels are indeed projected outside the machine before they even get a chance to pop.

I found a simple solution to this, which is to tilt the machine slightly towards the back. A fairly thin book will do the trick. Problem solve, and this otherwise great machine is to my liking :)

Not overly happy. The plastic top piece does not want to stay on when it gets warm and falls off when the little round piece is not on. Very dangerous, I burnt my fingers trying to put it back on. So you pop one batch, turn it off to cool take the plastic top part off fill with popcorn then place it all back together again to make the next batch 😒 It I bought this in town I would have returned it.

It is what it is but I find the top falls off easily and the popcorn pops all over the place, I replace it and it stays on for the rest of the popping. Strange. Just have to babysit a little. Corn pops well.

As advertised.
Some kernels jumped out from popping chute (about 10%) but if I put the machine tilted back a little until the kernel started popping, the number of kernels to jump out is reduced. Once start popping, I put the machine un-tilted.
I learned this technique from youtube.
Otherwise, it is pretty stable machine and we enjoyed popcorn in quickly and taste pretty good.
Note that sprinkled flavor / salt do not stick well due to non-oil. It is good for me though.

Fast but lots of unpopped kernels fly out from machine prematurely if not using a full half cup. Wish the warming dish could be secured as the rising popcorn has pushed it off a few times. Still better than using oil and a pan. Very easy cleanup.

It's very easy to use, and easy to clean.
It takes a couple of minutes to start popping, and it probably takes about 5 minutes or so to finish popping all the corns without any oil. The first time I used, I was impressed that all the kernels were popped. (Although that hasn't happened except for the first use.) Once I put on the kernels and turn on the switch, I could even do other things. I like the fact that cleaning is so easy too.

I had read on some reviews that unpopped kernel could come out, so I tilted the machine by inserting some stack of cards underneath.
Also, the air it comes out is very very hot, so I put the machine not facing front, but sideways. Especially, if I use this on top of the kitchen counter, the hot air could be around the kids face. By putting in a different direction, there was no worry about hot air blowing me/kids or popping out corns toward us.

Brand new item had bits of plastic attached to the internal heating chamber - had to take it apart to make it food safe! This unit is basically a hair dryer in a different form factor and feels cheap in every way. Unboxing was disappointing, and the unit needs to be tilted at 45 degrees to avoid kernels spilling all over the place. This is not the black and decker popcorn maker of your childhood. Whoever designed this never turned one on and used it. The plastic hood will probably melt itself useless by the tenth time. Not recommended!

Pros:
- Pops almost all the corn with little leftover
- The popcorn doesn't fly everywhere like it does with most others
- Pops pretty damn fast
- Pops fully all the kernals

Cons:
- The amazon picture gives the red a stainless steel look, it is actually just red plastic, doesn't look as good as in the display picture which was big a let down
- The plastic covers get super hot so be careful

A legit popcorn maker and worth the price.
