This is an amazing product. Cuisinart is a good brand so I wouldn't have expected anything but quality. Before buying this, I read a lot of reviews claiming that the attachments don't reach all the way to the bottom of the bowl so it doesn't work for everything. The only attachment that doesn't reach the bottom of the bowl is the bread hook and there is a way around that. I use this machine for a lot of bread doughs so normally I start with the water, sugar and yeast mixture, which is exactly what I did. I left the yeast do its work and then I started adding my flour cup by cup and it formed a beautiful dough with nothing left on the bottom. So just because the dough attachment doesn't reach the bottom doesn't mean it won't work. I could see that happening when the "wet" mixture is not at the bottom of the bowl and the dry stuff is, but any stand mixer does require you to scrape down at times.

Now regarding the "small quantities" part. I have used the bread attachment for a dough formed with 1 cup of flour and 4 cups of flour, and it works exactly the same! Now moving on to the whisk attachment, which is used most in baking for items such as butter cream and meringues. I made meringue with 2 egg whites and 10 egg whites, and once again, works exactly the same because the whisk attachment does reach the bottom of the bowl.

Overall, I love this machine. This is almost half price for what some of the kitchen aids sell for. It works exactly the same and just like kitchen aid, you can buy several other attachments like ice cream maker or pasta attachments. This is a very strong machine which allows it to work fast as well and I love the quality. For this price I was expecting them to cut corners a little bit by using cheaper materials such as plastic, but no, this is a very well built machine and well built attachments!

I debated for a long time about a stand mixer, did I need one, what brand should I get, will it be powerful enough and the price. I decide on the Cuisinart because it met all my needs and, the price was great. So far, so good, it has done everything I've asked of it, heavy breads which I like are no problem, cookies are fast and easy as are cake batters. I had though about "the other brand" but, after talking with a couple of friends who own them and hearing their experiences with them I chose Cuisinart. The machine is very quiet, it has all the power I want, no shaking or wandering on the counter, glad I chose it.

I purchased this mixer primarily for bread and pizza dough as I make bread once a week. It is very simple to use, powerful and a solid machine! The mixing of ingredients and ultimately kneading provides a smooth elastic dough with no effort. The tip I found very helpful from one reviewer was to put wet ingredients first, followed by dry, which gives a good mix and leaves the bowl clean. For years I had been eyeing Kitchen Aid mixers (which may be very good) but couldn't justify the cost. This is an amazing mixer at a great price!

I received the stand mixer as an early Mother’s Day gift. It was a very welcome gift as I have desired a stand mixer for many years but couldn’t justify the price given that I had some ok proxies (a good hand mixer, sturdy whisks).
The machine is very solid, well-built, easy to use and easy to clean. It is also quite a beautiful looking piece of equipment.
I see that a few others notes issues with movement and vibration but I have not experienced any such issues.
Very pleased with this fine addition to my baking equipment!

I actually purchased one for half price and “like new.” I didn’t want to waste a bunch of money if I didn’t like it. It is wonderful! If anything happens to it I would repurchase at full price. It came with three attachments. I’ve used it for Belgium waffles, bread and double batches of cookies. No wear and tear on my wrists! I had to call help desk to unpackaged it. I’m convinced it was returned because it couldn’t be unpacked. Just as I was about to return it myself the tip up feature finally released. The styrofoam packaging inside the bowl was way too tight causing the release to jam up. Don’t give up. It’s worth it! Oh also I got the red one. So pretty! The rotation of the bowl pulls everything from bowl sides into the beaters but I did purchase an additional silicon attachment for fun rather than necessity

Just received and used it to make Paska dough which is a very sticky dough. Minimal scraping of the sides as it was able to pull dough together in no time at all. Very easy to use and clean, nice solid piece of equipment.
