Arrived quickly in good condition. The oven performs excellently in every setting I've tried thus far. It cooks chicken and turkey breasts in steam bake mode at 400 degrees for 50 mins (depending on size) perfectly juicy inside with a nice brown exterior. I have steam baked frozen cod loins and they are moist and delicious. The toast function works great toasting frozen bread on #5 and fresh bread on #4 to even results without drying out the interior of the slices. It's great on convection bake for frozen chicken strips, etc for a quick meal (20 mins). I love this machine and highly recommend!

this is an excellent product. This is my second purchase of the steam oven. Model 1 and 2 are the same with the exception of the steam clean button. Either can be cleaned via steam. i have baked cookies, steam veg, cooked roast and chicken breasts, meatloaf etc. I heat everything that i use to put in microwave. I no longer own a microwave or toaster. This is my go to cooking appliance. I purchased a second unit as i found i wanted to cook more than I main dish at a time. And i hit a sale price lol The capacity limits for one rack hence the second unit. I am going into my second year with the first unit and have found that using my regular oven happens during special holidays when cooking for a larger crew. The extra room in the back of the unit allows for placing larger casserole dishes in no problem. i have used a 9.5"x 14" dish placed diagonally and the oven rack inverted. (as the rack is meant to be used this way as well). Now if they make a unit with two shelves...i would invest. You can't go wrong with this purchase.

much healthier than a microwave and steams so quickly that everything is left moist without the dry crispy microwave edges !

This oven does a great job of cooking things. I like that there are no coatings on the inside, and I like that the door is gasketed.

The steam functions really do work as advertised (I won't waste time explaining how or why, since others have done so already).

This would have been a 5 star review except that the control system on this oven is TERRIBLE. Every single function has to be set to a timer, so it doesn't behave like an oven at all. You can't turn it on and have it preheat, then put the food in and set timer when you are ready. You have to preheat it on a timer, then when you're ready to put the food in, all you can do is shut it off and start a new timed oven cycle to actually cook your food. You can't change the temperature OR the timer, or the cook function without "Cancelling" the current operation and starting over.

Cuisinart apparently let software engineers decide how you should use their kitchen appliance. AWFUL user interface.

I had to replace my 10 year old Black and Decker toaster oven because the dial for the temperature control fell apart. I was using a pair of pliers to turn it on and set temperature settings. It was a loyal toaster despite the fact that we had 3 fires in there - still worked except for dial (plastic).

First of all, the Cuisinart toaster oven came very quickly; I think 3 days after I ordered it. I got it in time for Thanksgiving which helped a lot.
I am glad I paid extra for this oven. Yes, it's a little more than the regular convection ovens but the steam feature makes it worthwhile. I can steam all sorts of protein without drying out. When I bake things, the convection bake function allows me to bake it in less than the time on recipe so you have to keep an eye on it. Otherwise you an overbake/cook things. It does take up counter space but no big deal. The only issue I have is that the water reservoir isn't designed to shake out excess water easily. It's hard to keep reservoir dry to prevent stagnant water sitting there when you don't use steam.

Overall, I am pleased with my purchase and people who have seen it work are impressed as well. I've only had it for about 4 weeks and use it almost daily. Hope it lives up to my hype in the months and years to come!

First one arrived with oven light not working . Return was painless. Got a replacement within 48 hours. It works great. It worth sacrificing the smaller interior for the steamer feature. Days old bread came out like freshly baked using steam and heat feature. The steam prevent the bread from drying up. Toaster feature works surprisingly well as most countertop conviction do not toast well . Boiling is a bit slower comparing to my old Cuisinart.
I tried steaming Chinese dumplings but it did not work. The steam is just not strong enough ? I don't know why. The skin of the dumplings turned out hard. Ended up back to the stove top streaming. For that, I took off one star.

I wanted to love this oven, but I'm going to be honest here - I bought this in December 2015, the oven started rusting on the inside (around the screw connections) within a few weeks of daily use of the steam function. The rack also started showing rust stains, all within a few weeks.

Canadian customer beware - Cuisinart Canada has abysmal customer service. They did not respond to my e-mail, hence I followed up with a phone call. The customer service representative whom I spoke to did not seem at all concerned that they sold a subpar product and turned the tables on me by expressing 'surprise' that it was rusting, commenting that 'stainless steel shouldn't rust'. Yes, I know that, why do you think I'm making a complaint?

I used the oven to steam baby food so I was very disappointed by the quality of the oven - if you are advertising an oven as 'stainless steel' with a 'steam function', it should not rust, period. I have attached photo evidence here. Cuisinart customer service (if you even care) you can contact me. I'm returning this item.
