This is my fourth year using this device, and it is still working great. I have used it most nights for cooking and have had no issues at all. The toast timer is nice on it, too. It makes a noise that's a nice BPM, and if you like dancing and rhythm, it makes waiting for your toast fun.

I love love love my convection oven. I am still getting used to it but I use it everyday from making toast to air fry crispy chicken wings.
You do have to be careful with the dials if the time has not run out before your finished just leave the oven door open and the timer will continue to count down. Like the reviews online dont turn the timer dials back by hand because you could snap the dial off. That is a small price to pay for such a great appliance. I read the reviews before I decided on this appliance and it is everything and more happy with my purchase.

Very solid unit, built well. Has a 3 yr warranty which can be extended to 4 buy purchasing with a Visa and CC that offers warranty extension. Cons, the unit is large and you need storage space if you do not want permanently on counter. This oven cooks fast , I can not say it enough. You are best to half your cook times and work up rather than wasting a dish. It air frys very well and will only burn if you cook items too long. Solid purchase when picked up on sale. Very happy with our purchase over Black Friday

---Update-- the toaster broiler has stopped working. It was bough on Sep 9 2019 today is 31 oct 2020.
and it wasn't even in high use. Worst appliance I have bought so far.
I checked the temperature with a thermocouple and it is off by more than 50 degrees at times. Not only that but the regulator wildly fluctuates by over a hundred degrees when you are cooking the food. When set to 350 I have seen it cut off at 425 and cut in at 300 Holy cow!! That is ridiculous for this price! Installing a thermistor that is more sensitive would cost them a few dollars more guess they are too cheap for that. In my opinion might as well buy a cheaper one it will work just as good who knows maybe even better. Way over priced.

My wife wanted one these for years. I resisted, saying we already had a stove, why do we need another little stove?

Dear reader, I was wrong. Turns out this is one of the most useful kitchen appliances I’ve ever bought. Here’s what I like:

- Cook times are incredibly short. This thing heats up quick and cooks fast. A 2 lbs bag of cauliflower florets is done in 25 minutes. A frozen pizza that would take 25-28 minutes in the big oven is done in 10-12 minutes.

- It’s incredibly helpful to have a second stove when cooking for a crowd.

-It’s the summer kitchen I’ve always wanted. It doesn’t heat the house up like the big stove, and if necessary I can plug it in outside so the kitchen is not heated at all.

What I don’t like:

- Questionable durability. My first one broke in less than a year. The broiler functions stopped working and I was able to return it. I tried a cheaper replacement but it was terrible - slow, uneven cooking. So I got another one of these.

This is very basic technology, and if they built it to last I’d have no complaints. Plus, it’d be better for the environment.

Overall, though, it’s great. I use it at least four nights a week. If you’re on the fence go ahead and buy it. You won’t regret it.

Update April 2021: Bought a replacement on Amazon in July 2020. By April 2021 the function knob failed on the new unit. Waiting to hear back from Cuisinart on a possible replacement, but these are clearly not designed for use in a busy family. They are too expensive to have to replace every 9 to 12 months, and the cost difference between a a cheap selector knob and a quality selector knob can't be more than a few dollars for the volume a large company like Cuisinart is buying. Is doubly disappointing as we typically just leave it on the convect bake feature - the function knob doesn't even see much use.

About 4 years ago I purchased a COSORI 5.8 Qt Smart WiFi Air Fryer

Not long after purchasing, the touch keypad started giving me issues, it simply worked when it chose to do so.

It could fit a decent amount of food to be cooked, but was used mostly for making french fries and tater tots, especially during the summer months and not having to use an oven.

Got an email about a potentially dangerous hazard with that model, and the manufacturer offered a replacement about a year ago. Decided to just set it aside for now, and look for a bigger and better model.

This one works so much better and faster than my previous unit, I'm almost to the point of dumping my regular toaster permanently.

Many different cooking and toasting options, it was worth every single penny I paid, and just like my old one, allows me to make smaller meals without having to use my oven.
