I did get this item, but the software is not all that. You have to down load more software and that did not work. Was able to hear music from speakers while it was recording only on the first 2 lps, then that stopped. I would not recommend. Now if JVC would put out a linear tracking turntable that you can record to mp3 with plug and play and NOT have to download anything, I would try it
