Humans are creatures of habit. We like to be comfortable. We like our gadgets and gizmos. We enjoy our technology and all the amenities that come along with it. We have grown complacent and dependant on these creature comforts. But what if….

What if the power goes out and doesn’t come back on….
What if the government is dissolved….
What if biological warfare hits our streets….
What if the world as we know it is taken away from us?

Are you ready? Could you survive? The what if’s are coming. It may not be today but the need is there. Fuels are running low. The threat of terror attacks are escalating. Do you have what it takes to survive?

This book isn’t a fanatical testament of crackpot theories. The advice is sound. If the what if’s do happen, it can’t hurt to be ready. Even if the worst disaster that we face in our lifetimes is the abundance of natural disasters, knowing how to survive is essential. This book will give you the tools that you need. From finding shelter and water, to preparing before the fall out, it’s full of practical advice that can only do good. This guide is ideal if you haven’t thought about it before or even if you’ve already started prepping on your own. How will we communicate? What type of security works best for long-term survival? What are some the dangers associated with the most likely disaster? From finding the right location, food, and even urban survival, this book covers it all.

The worst may never happen, but if it does, you owe it to yourself and your family to be prepared.

Comments From Other Readers

“I never thought much about this type of thing. I mean living in Florida we have our share of hurricanes that we prep for but this takes it to a completely new level. With the tensions that are flaring on a global level it can’t hurt to be prepared. I owe it to my family to stay safe and make the right choices to keep them safe as well. I found some of that security in reading this book. We’ve already started prepping on small scales because really, you never know.” -Becca (Florida, US)

“My family has been homesteading for quite some time. While I work a steady job, my wife and kids have embraced making strides to living off the grid. I never really thought about it before in terms of being prepared for a disaster, to us it’s just been an economic choice. Now after reading this, I can see the value is so much greater. If things were to go south, we already have a great foundation to survive. The book really opened my eyes to how much more we could be doing and why this is so vitally important in today’s global boiling pot.” - Justin (Washington DC, US)

An excellent book. Has a lot of things that other books don't consider, and the author is not just paying lip service to the other topics.

Disasters are very much destroying and it may alter the course of human life. There are many type of disasters. Like man made and natural disasters. One should be always be prepared for his/her survival. One could not predict the disasters. This e book is a very good book depicting about different techniques and survival methods regarding different types of disasters.

This book is much more informative than the other books that I have read. It have much more practical and sensible ideas and survival methods.
I recommend this book to read at least once. I'm sure this book will not disappoint you

I picked up this book because of its uncommon subject matter and I thought is there really a need for this book? But then I realized that actually there is need for this book now more than ever. The world that we inhabit unfortunately has very little stability to offer. What with volatile situations arising in every corner of the world almost every day and natural disasters claiming thousands of lives, there is need to be prepared for any outcome. And this book definitely comes in handy for those emergencies.
The best thing about this book is that it takes into account all the possible aspects that may arise in case of an emergency situation. Especially worth noting was the last chapter which even delves into waste management, an important aspect that we hardly think of when we think of saving ourselves from disaster. All in all, it’s a very well equipped book from a very thoughtful author!

HASH(0x9ef699a8) out of 5 stars You NEED to read this book. Your future may depend on it! Sept. 30 2015

This book is an absolute necessity today. The world is not like it was fifty to sixty years ago. Natural disasters are happening more often than ever before, and no one truly knows what the future may hold. Are you prepared for it? As the promo for the book asks, what would you do if the power went out and never came back on, ever? So many things today are run electronically, so much technology. What to do when these things occur? Where to find food and water? Gasoline for vehicles? So very many things to think about, and this book touches on sound ways to prepare oneself for the inevitability of a disaster occurring. Are you ready? I'm not, but now I know ways to help me prepare for such an event to happen. Give this book a read. I guarantee you will be happy you did, and you will be more prepared for the future too.

HASH(0x9ef69cd8) out of 5 stars Very informative Oct. 1 2015

If the world as we know it would fall apart from scenarios such as an unstoppable virus, an electromagnetic attack, or solar radiation, would you and your family survive? As much as we don't want to think about it, we need to be realistic that we should be prepared for disasters that could affect our food, water, and dependence on modern technology. This book is great for presenting all of the options as well as their pros and cons of options. For example, if you would need firewood, you could keep your chainsaw to prepare your firewood, but without fuel or replacement supplies, it is not the best long-term option. More than anything, this is advice to consider if you have to live according to a more rustic lifestyle. This can include economic crisis or some kind of downfall.

HASH(0x9ef69f0c) out of 5 stars along with any other horrible events that may happen in between Oct. 10 2015

With the threat of a hurricane on the east coast and the possibility of a huge earth quake on the west, along with any other horrible events that may happen in between, I think it's safe to say that we should be getting prepared for the worst, just in case, and we should be prepared at all times. Preparing things ahead of time eliminates the last minute visit to the store where everyone is snatching up all of the food they can and it gives you more time to think over in case you forget something. Being able to survive is what animals do best, but as humans, we've made surviving into a battle of stock markets and property value more so than brute strength and cunning. While technology is amazing, I do agree that we've become weaker to the wild as a result.
