Product Description

The #1 bestseller that kicked off Helena Newbury's New Adult trilogy. All three books are out now and in Kindle Unlimited. Each book is a standalone with a HEA.Natasha is one of the most promising ballet dancers at the prestigious Fenbrook Academy of Performing Arts and she's just landed a life-changing audition. But no one knows the guilt she carries...or the damage it makes her inflict on herself when she's alone.

Darrell is a multi-millionaire designer at 25. But past traumas have pushed him into isolation and the intense pressure of his work has brought him to the edge of burnout. Seeking inspiration, he sees Natasha dance and hires her as his muse.

As she dances for him, the two become entwined in a passionate but troubled relationship. He starts to see the pain inside her and helps her gradually lower her defenses...but Darrell has demons of his own. Can two broken people save each other? Or will the darkness they're hiding consume them both?

About the Author

I’m a New Adult Romance author who loves writing about what happens when love and dreams collide with the real world. I wrote my first novel, Dance for Me, in daily chunks in a very busy, very noisy coffee shop, which meant I had to order a black Americano every hour, on the hour, to keep my seat and wound up wired on caffeine most days. Unlike my characters, I can’t dance.

Gah! This book!I adore it, I loved it, I just couldn't get enough. Of course I got my hands on the next books ASAP, but that's a story for tomorrow.

Natasha's a ballet dancer, #jealous, but she's got issues too. I loved her soo much. She's such a believable character and I loved how she had an issue that we see a lot in today's society-especially with teens. She inflicts pain on herself and she knows it's wrong but she just can't stop.

Darrell is a freaking gazillionaire-haha just kidding, he's only a multi-millionaire-and he's good looking and smart. Can I just get a fan and a mop to pick up this ocean of drool around me. Damn! This man is amazing. He's dealing with so much, all these demons, and yet he's still so lovable!

The characters in this book just deserve an award-no, Helena you deserve an award, and I deserve a cupcake! But seriously I loved the characters. They were very realistic and amazing, I just fell in love.

"You're beautiful," he said, and it was so out of nowhere that I wobbled."Sorry" he said quickly."But you are."

The chemistry between these two was there from the beginning and you could easily see it, I'm pretty sure even a blind person could tell. It was really adorable how they both interacted with each other. It was the type of love and awesomeness that everyone wants to find in their life.

The plot was very well developed except in one or two places but that was minor and I didn't really care for it because I was too focused on Natasha and Darrell (where do I find a man like that?!?).

I do really recommend that you pick this book up, but be aware this book has some situations that only people 17/18 years or older might be comfortable reading.

This story pulled me right in from the beginning. I believe it was from the very first page, that made me want to dive right in. I've never had to deal with the specific demons that Natasha & Darrell wrestle with, thankfully. However, the way Helena Newbury describes & deals with Natasha's cutting, her feelings of guilt, as well as Darrell's guilt & anger, I could easily relate, due to my own life's past issues. I immediately felt sympathy, empathy even. I suffered with them. I rooted for them. I was telling them what they should say & do, even, but this story was beautifully written. Helena even created enough depth for the supporting characters that made me love them as well (except for Darrell's boss!). I'm currently reading In Harmony, that tells Karen's (Natasha's musician friend) tale and am delighted to see Natasha & Darrell make an appearance. I love when characters cross over! I highly recommend this book. There's romance, tragedy, a little humor, and some serious chemistry between the two leads.

Karen is a sweet sheltered girl who is pushed into playing the cello by her father as a child and that became her life. Now she meets this bad boy guitarist Connor who per trades himself as he doesn't care but when Karen has no choose to work with him because if she doesn't she will not graduates. They find out so much about each other that they have something's in common and become friends in the processes first before they stop fighting the attraction between them. Karen finds out why Connor doesn't care about school and helps him care again.

It's so great and you will not put it down and it's a bigger treat that you get to follow Natasha and Darrell's story threw this book.

I found this to be a very sweet story. Natasha is a dancer who is a little out of luck. While at a dance audition multi-millionaire Darrell, who is looking for a muse on a secret project, sees her and immediately thinks that she is the answer to all of his problems. There are sparks between the two of them immediately. I found it interesting that both main characters had a history in which they reacted in completely opposite ways. Natasha lived for control and not wanting to remember while Darrell was all about remembering his past.
The ups and down that each of their pasts created throughout the story and how they chose to react and carry on was what made the story so captivating.

I cannot wait for more books in this series (each is a standalone with appearances from other couples)! This author really wove a unique tale about dealing with grief in negative ways, and the adult stage of moving on. Its just lovely. Let me leave it at that. The secondary characters are a total blast, too. It also tells a really sweet love story that I truly enjoyed. The characters promise to provide lots of fun and romantic adventures throughout the series.
