If I could give this book more than 5 star I would. It may sound dramatic but this book has totally changed my view on the world. I can honestly say there isn't a "type" of person that this book is designed for. If you want to have a more positive outlook on life and improve yourself as a person then this is the book for you. I can't say enough good things about this book. Where is has the greatest impact has been on how I parent. It has broken old ways of thinking and opened up a new world of love and kindness. Worth EVERY penny!!!

I watched Brene Brown's TED talk and had to read the book after. It is so informative and insightful. I love her style, her honesty and vulnerability. It has made me rethink a lot of my beliefs and behaviours. I even bought her other books after reading this one. I highly recommend it.

First was introduced to Brene Brown through her TED talk video. Amazing woman- funny, thoughtful and daring greatly in her work. This book is one of those books that you need to read, re-read, talk about, think about, re-read, and hold close.
This booked helped me understand myself better and understand those around me better and how to support one another in our truths and vulnerabilities and our journey to wholehearted living. Best Christmas gift I could think of giving!

I became familiar with Brene Brown through her TED talk speech on vulnerability and wholeheartedness and felt compelled to purchase this book. I had high expectations, and they were fully met.

I liked that she related vulnerability to a wide range of scenarios and made the book very personal by including many of her own stories and experiences.
