Basically a crispy microwave. Good for a single person.
I call this the crispy microwave because that's pretty much what it is.Cons:This model is DEFINITELY just for one person. You can literally fit one chicken leg in there (see photos). The recipe guide says to cook in batches, but if one chicken leg takes 25 min to cook, stopping in the middle to flip it trying to feed even 2 people now takes you longer than just using the oven.Don't expect this to be a "set it and forget it" type of situation. This thing requires a lot of babysitting. You will be stopping and starting a lot to flip, stir and shake what's in there or deal with uneven cooking. Kind of like a microwave.I don't really find it that much quicker than using the oven for most things if I'm being honest. All the time you need to take fiddling with the food in there ends up just bringing you a few minutes shy of the oven time anyway."Frying" with little to no oil isn't really a thing. Your food is baked crispy, not fried. It won't take on the flavor or texture of fried foods. Reheating properly fried leftovers in here though is awesome. You'll never throw out soggy takeout fries again.Pros:It's great at reheating things that would otherwise get soggy in a microwave.You're not going to win any cooking competitions with this thing, but if you're not a fan of cooking and just want it done and over with or don't want to heat up the house with the oven to make a handful of fries, it's a handy little machine.It's the perfect size for a single person.
