Boiled eggs are perfect, one egg omelettes actually taste good and leave you feeling satisfied! Round poached eggs would be better than semi-circles, but it's easy to get medium poached without risk.

Works Great!
I love boiled eggs but it’s hard to get the timing just right. I like the white to be cooked while the yolk is as runny as possible.I experimented with single eggs. The Medium setting didn’t fully cook the whites, they were still quite runny towards the middle. The Hard setting was perfect.I tried the poached egg and setting but it came out with the top cooked and the bottom half fairly raw. Will try again but use the Medium water level. * I tried making 2 poached eggs and filled halfway between the medium and hard measurements: worked! White is cooked and yellow still has some runny.It’s funny how the two enclosed booklets showed two different time sets. I timed it and got a third time set.The markings on the measuring cup were very difficult to read so I remedied that by using a red Sharpie. (As shown in photo)I will need to sharpen the egg piercer if I intend to use it as it has a flattened tip. For now, I’m happy with my own old piercer.I have been using Brita filtered water. It stopped the calcium deposits in my kettle so I figured it would work for the egg cooker too.My favourite colour is red but it seemed more appropriate to have an egg cooker in butter yellow. It’s adorable and I love it!
