Product Description

Product Description

In the small town of Moonridge, Theresa and her best friends, Beth and Donna, reminisce about their youth when David, Wil, and Paul—their old friends and childhood crushes—come back to town. The six friends share memories of the summer of 1983, when troubles with their families and three bullies strengthened their bond and changed their lives forever. Fifteen years later, in the midst of their happy reunion, they are reacquainted with their childhood bullies: the sadistic Jordan brothers. Theresa and her friends must pull together in order to survive the present, while facing their darkest memories of the past.

HASH(0xa8614aa4) out of 5 stars Great read July 28 2013

This was a great book, nice read. Sometimes it got a bit frustrating, the characters (the villains) really irked me. However, the overall story kept me really interested and I could not put the book down.

This book felt a bit contrived and it was hard to care about the characters. I gave up after two chapters. Wouldn't recommend this.

A little contrived but good and quick reading. Hopefully the next book will have fewer typos. I will try the next in the series.

Story was about a verbally abusive mother, definitely didn't see that coming in the title. Way to much dialog with minimal narrative. Poor writing.

Well written but oh so sad. People can be so cruel. The five of the six main characters are amazing in spite of the lives they never asked to be born into. The bullies caused tragedy but beth the sixth main character caused equal if not more. She has no sense of reality. Ugh I wanted to scream at her.
