Product Description

In this dramatic new novella from the New York Times bestselling author of Torn and Connected, two people discover that even the truest love has ups and downs…

Jagger Kennedy never went looking for fame, he just fell into it. After scoring a major modeling contract, his clean-cut good looks and charm catapulted his career. But when his actress girlfriend breaks his heart, he moves to L.A. to try his hand at acting. He needs to make a change, and the last thing he’s looking for is love…

Aerie Daniels is a woman in control … until she meets Jagger. Her surprising connection with him leaves her stunned, and it’s unlike anything she’s ever felt. But just when she lets her walls fall, she makes a startling discovery about him that breaks her fragile heart into a million pieces.

To keep from losing the one woman he can’t bear to be without, Jagger is willing to give up anything—including his career. But even that might not be enough to regain Aerie’s shattered trust…

Includes a preview of the next Connections series novel, Mended.

DAZED is the third storyline (novella) in Kim Karr’s contemporary, adult, erotic romance Connections Series. This is Aerie Daniels and Jagger Kennedy’s storyline-Aerie is Dahlia’s best friend and former employee at Sound Music: Jagger is River’s cousin, a runway model and, an up and coming actor. With his good looks, Jagger is every woman’s dream but his reasons for seducing Aerie may not be on the level.

The storyline follows as Jagger and Aerie are introduced to one another by River and Dahlia. The attraction is instant; from their accidental meeting earlier that morning at the local cupcake shop to dinner with friends, their mutual energy is too good to be true….but Jagger is in town for an audition that hits too close to home for Aerie Daniels. What does Jagger want from her and where will all of this go?

The world building reveals much of Jagger and Aerie’s family history and rocky relationships but there is one relationship of Jagger’s that is too close to the present which makes Aerie uncomfortable with thoughts of betrayal and manipulation. As the audition draws near so too does the anxiety of losing the man that she loves to someone from his past.

Kim Karr writes an intensely addicting series with the focus on the relationship and the probability of betrayal from past lovers and hidden secrets. We watch as the growing love between Jagger and Aerie is temporarily sidelined when Aerie is too quick to jump to conclusions and pushes away the man that she loves when his past threatens their present.

DAZED and the Connections series is emotionally passionate and will captivate the reader looking for a happily ever after-til the end.
