My only complaint is the placement of the large clasp for the underbelly, it's right behind the front leg - causing severe rash. I had to keep setting the front strap larger so the underbelly strap is farther back. Still trying to find the best spot. If your dog is walking and pulls off to the side the harness moves forward easily and rubs against the front legs.
The large runs for now a little wide, but he still grows and he is 25% Malamute so he also has the coat in winter, the 3 D-rings are so usefull, i'm using the left/right now with a special leash which i made myself he is very strong so easy to handle now. value/ quality SUPER!Also great for dog-crosscountry skien!
My smaller dog has a 24-inch chest, so should be a perfect fit. However, the front strap is 2" wide, which means it restricts and rubs the shoulders if she runs at a full extension, plus it's a bit bulky for her. So, it's a great walking harness for a dog her size, but it's terrible if you're going to use it for anything where the dog will be running full-out.
On my larger dog with a 28-inch chest, it's pretty near perfect.
