Purchase options and add-ons

The highly lauded, mouthwateringly illustrated miniseries Decorum from the bestselling, comics titan Jonathan Hickman (House of X, Powers of X, East of West) and acclaimed artist Mike Huddleston (Middlewest, House of X) now collected in its entirety in a stunning hardcover edition for the first time.

Decorum blends the high impact, event level storytelling of Hickman's recent re-envisioning of X-Men with the sprawling, addictive worldbuilding of the recently concluded East of West. In the world of Decorum, there are many assassins in the known universe. Decorum is the story of the most well-mannered one.

The perfect standalone story for fans of epics like
Star Wars and assassin action tales like John Wick-but set in a lush science fiction world where the stakes are even higher.

Collects DECORUM #1-8.

Product description

Review

Hickman's script fits the cheeky neo-space-opera mold of series like Saga or Invisible Kingdom, but Huddleston's art launches it into a fantasy tour de force, as he swirls watercolor painting, black-and-white brushwork, psychedelic spot color, Jack Kirby-inspired digital collage, and retro pop-art touches (dig those oversize Ben-Day dots!) into a phantasmagoric vision. Text sections explicate world-building details ranging from the fearsome Church of the Singularity to the street noodles Neha inhales. Readers will enjoy the trippy, tricked-out ride. --Publishers Weekly, starred review

I'm a huge Hickman fan, which I guess is why I'm here. I came expecting good story, but did not expect art that is borderline god-tier. Seriously. Every page is an incredible treat--a feast for the eyes. Soak it all in, baby, but do it quietly--we must maintain Decorum.

Mike Huddleston's art alone is more than worth the asking price! With his multiple styles and amazing coloring work this is a comic that you will find yourself flipping through a whole lot. Hickman is Hickman as usual with this being a solid entry in his bibliography. I highly recommend it to fans of breathtaking Sci-fi art work.

At first I felt very much confused and had many a "wtf" moment. But I persevered because the artwork and styling was very attractive to me. This story hands down has one of my favourite characters ever. Imogen Smith-Morley is THAT 'Lady' and I wish I had a smidge of the decorum she does. Sci Fi Fantasy Epic Adventure. Looking forward to the follow up.
