As someone who has suffered from mental anguish most my life, I highly recommend this as a remedy for similar ills.
Examples of this are swings in a playground that are swinging out of sync and adjust. Also, in a clock store you may notice the pendulum clocks of the same size swinging back and forth in unison.
Research has been done into the brainwaves of people in deep sleep states. Dr T has incorporated these brainwave patterns into his music to entrain your mind to reach the Delta state.

I purchased the CD, and decided to play it all night so when I would wake up periodically, the CD might put me back to sleep. Well, when I play this CD, I never even get to sleep. I think this thing actually keeps me awake. I have tried it with and without headphones. It is actually even more distracting to me with headphones on. I was very surprised, because I thought the sounds and music on the CD would be relaxing, but for me they are anything but. I find the noises on this CD VERY distracting. I experimented several nights with different volumes, etc. I would finally have to turn it off after a couple hours just so I could get a little bit of sleep. I used it for almost a week, thinking maybe I was just not use to it, but the results were always the same. Play the CD, stay awake. Turn it off, and go to sleep for a short time at least. I just don't see how anyone can relax to the souds on this CD.
Oh well. I am glad it seems to work for others, but this one is going back.

If you are still suffering from insomnia, try "Say Goodnight to Insomnia" by Gregg Jacobs. If you follow the book religiously, you will eventually sleep well again. It is not a quick fix. In fact, for the first week or so, you will be very tire, But his method works.
My biggest problem is that I cannot fall asleep with total silence around me. I used to have a TV set in my bedroom, but I've been told by several Feng Shui experts that a TV set has nothing to do in a bedroom (for loads of reasons), so I removed it. I was real worried I'd have serious problems falling asleep.
I was also real excited about the CD. The first night (the day I received it) it actually had the opposite affect - I guess I was just way too excited. From then on (it was a couple of months ago) I play the CD each and every night after turning the lights down - and indeed, like another reviewer said, I never quite had the chance to listen to the second track, meaning I never had to toss and turn in bed trying to fall asleep for more than, like, fifteen or twenty minutes.
I have no idea WHY exactly this CD works, but it seems like it deinitely does.
