HASH(0x9e89cd80) out of 5 stars Should be used in schools!!! Feb. 17 2011

This is an awesome book I bought for my children, currently ages 8 and under, although the book says it is for ages 9 and up. This book is laid out beautifully and has tabs for easy reference. I think every school child should have this book! I am interested in graphic design and have even been reading it myself. This book is not cutesy and does not talk down to children. It gives them real vocabulary and explains the design process and even gives some projects to try and history. I love this book and plan on getting more from this company. I've already got the World of Design book by them too.

AMAZING. I've never seen anything like this. I love the mini artist profiles! I teach a graphic design class for 4-6th graders, so this is a fantastic resource for me! Thank you for making this book!
HASH(0x9e76d3fc) out of 5 stars Fun Introduction March 15 2013

This book is a fun introduction for children into the graphic design world. There are great hands on projects to interest young aspiring graphic designers, as well as keep the interest of adults too.

HASH(0x9e621fcc) out of 5 stars For Teens not Kids Oct. 29 2011
By monkeygirl - Published on
Format: Spiral-bound Verified Purchase
This book is more like Graphic Design 101. The 'for kids' was totally slapped on as an after thought because this book is far too advance for any child! It is possible a teen would be able to appreciate this OR an adult just getting into graphic design and wanting a quick and easy overview. The layout is fun and includes tabs for the different sections which is a nice touch.
