This is the best book on L2 VPN in Alcatel-Lucent product context (ALRSP). Personally, I learned this relatively complex subject via this book. One particular thing that I like this book -- it's written in plain language, and key concepts were repeated across pages. Don't underestimate that -- when a reader learn new things, repeating on key points is actually very important. I guess it's a little bit harder to follow the examples with no access to ALRSP routers, but if reader does have access, then, this is the best book.
