5.0 out of 5 stars You can never go wrong with Alcatel Lucent Books! March 19 2015
By Warren Mack - Published on
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
If you need to understand an IP networking technology, always try to find an Acatel Lucent book. Although it may be difficult to implement the book configurations, you will definitely learn and master the concepts which can be applied on Juniper and Cisco routers. Amazing Book!!!. I actually purchased this book to learn about RSVP-TE and I'm not disappointed as usual after reading this book along with MPLS Fundamentals by Cisco, I feel pretty confident about discussing the details, implementation and design of RSVP-TE. This book is a must buy!

5.0 out of 5 stars Best book for ALRSP learners Feb. 2 2014
By Amazon Customer - Published on
Format: Paperback
This book was published in 2010, it's weird that no one has reviewed it on Amazon.

This is the best book on L2 VPN in Alcatel-Lucent product context (ALRSP). Personally, I learned this relatively complex subject via this book. One particular thing that I like this book -- it's written in plain language, and key concepts were repeated across pages. Don't underestimate that -- when a reader learn new things, repeating on key points is actually very important. I guess it's a little bit harder to follow the examples with no access to ALRSP routers, but if reader does have access, then, this is the best book.
