HASH(0x9b293bf4) out of 5 stars Hunger as Human Rights and Moral Challenge March 25 2012
By Togo Ata - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
In his book, Destruction Massive, Jean Ziegler made a strong case both legally for hunger as human rights and morally for hunger as social justice. It is an excellent book for scholars and students in global public policy in that it shows the contrast between the declining power of states to assume their responsibilities vis-a-vis citizens and the rise of profit-driven international corporations.
