5.0 out of 5 stars Good, fun, punky-folk music, worth every cent. Sept. 30 2016

A few songs depart from their typical, but not by much. Its still very much the band I love dearly! If you have never heard this group before, I suggest binge purchasing all 3 albums. You'll thank me later. Even better if you can catch them live, they under price their shows so much, you can see them for $15 and it be one of the best nights out you've ever had. My ONLY complaint is its a bit short at just around 40 minutes.

The Devil in Me stands out as the most different and has quickly become one of my favorites.

Wanted, Geordie Lad, Tragedy in A Minor, & Beat It From The Chest all have that sing along pub song vibe that is so great to participate in live, and you'll be singing along in the car in no time.

Fair Winds & Following Seas has the shanty squeezebox going on, but not quite a shanty, but very much see this becoming a show closing favorite.

So pour a pint and pick this up. Feel free to post all thank you's below if you check this out and love it!

5.0 out of 5 stars 3 For 3 Oct. 2 2016

Another stellar album. You can truly hear their sound evolving from album to album. At its core it's still that folky pub sound you'd come to expect but they definitely shifted to a more of a sound that can be compared to Frank Turner or Flogging Molly. Well worth checking out and if you can see them live.
4.0 out of 5 stars UK punk-folk keeps you rocking Feb. 15 2017

More laid-back approach than DoDB, only a couple of numbers that really make you want to get up and dance.

The band keep their punk-folk sound, and the musicianship is as strong as previously.

Fantastic new album from a fantastic group. Not a single song is bad or boring. Loving every single one. Highly recommended. If you like Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murphys, Pogues, etc. , you wil love Skinny Lister.
