Product description

About the Author

The Author: Dudley Kernick is a proud Cornishman whose main career was in English football as a player, coach, manager, secretary, broadcaster, and TV scriptwriter. He has previously written one book of his journey through football's treadmill as one of the game's dynamic and successful figures. His latest book, "The Devil of Trehorra" is a murder mystery which conjures up legends and memories of Cornwall - which, if it could choose, would declare the county independent from the English government. It takes more than one person to write a book, and I have had help from so many that I will probably miss some, and hope they will accept my apologies. In no particular order these are but a few who helped. - Sue and Mike Nuttall. Sue's faith in the story line and both their help encouragement and support during several periods when I felt like giving the whole thing up. - My son Max, his wife Marika for adding a touch of professionalism to my task - Grandson Paul who spent a lot of his vacation from Finland typing a lot of copy. - Neil Archer my son-in-law for keeping my Computer working! - Ken Dove a very good friend for over 30 years, also a computer wizz-kid ! - To Valerie and Gordon Stephens - Steve Gordos without whom the book would probably never have got to the print and to Rick Bachelor for his work on the book cover. - Finally to daughter Vanessa who typed many chapters although all the time was sure The Devil of Trehorra would never see the light of day. Thank you ALL.
