I have a medium-sized medium dog - a Stafforshire Terrier. I bought the medium size. This has panned out very well. After my dog Sirus and I get back in from a walk I fill it up 3/4 with warm water, sit on my butt and do his two front paws - push the paw down, a few twists to the left, few twists to the right, pull it up and let 'er drip for a moment, towel dry, then the other paw; he gets a treat after the front paws and a second after the back two. He doesn't seem to mind the process. The success is evident when you dump out the grey water - happy that he's no longer tracking crumbs and debris from outside into my bed.

He also has a habit of chewing his paws so I also use this in the bath to help mitigate the itchies - lather up his paw and a few twists in both direction with the MudBuster ensures Soos Anti-Itch shampoo gets in all the nooks and crannies better than my fingers could.
