Product Description

Zachary has a dilemma. His girlfriend, Reese, has a special birthday coming up soon and he has absolutely no clue what to get for her. It doesn’t help that Zach does not share or really understand Reese’s biggest hobby—comic books, superheroes and everything that goes with them. Zach raids Reese’s DVD collection for inspiration and what he finds there gives him an idea…possibly the best one he’s ever had.

Sure, Reese has fantasized about her favorite superheroes. All those muscles and rakish smiles are to die for. She didn’t think Zach would ever really understand, though. But he proves her wrong in the best way possible.

A Romantica® contemporary erotic romance from Ellora’s Cave

A Different Kind of Cosplay by Lucy Felthouse
What a great story! What do you get for a woman who doesn’t like gifts, flowers or jewelry? Well her man Zach is a genius that is for sure. You see Reece is a little bit of a geek so Zach had to a little research into what she liked and came up with the BEST GIFT EVER! Reece is one lucky woman and her 30th birthday turned into one she will never forget. What an amazing story and hot, hot, hot. I received this book as a gift from the author for an honest review.

HASH(0x9d29a18c) out of 5 stars Cosplayers Be Warned! This is HOT erotica! Jan. 20 2015
By Nessa - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
As a cosplayer myself, I had to read this book! Lucy takes a special twist to cosplaying and turns it so erotic and so hot that I want this to happen to me! While there is erotica throughout most of the book, the scenes in between all the smut are just as incredible in their descriptions that I almost felt like a voyeur peeking in on their lives. Always been a fan of Lucy Felthouse and each novel just makes me want to read move and more of her work!

HASH(0x9d29a1e0) out of 5 stars My new book boyfriend! Jan. 17 2015

Cosplay – according to Wikipedia - a portmanteau of the words costume play, is a performance art in which participants called cosplayers wear costumes and fashion accessories to represent a specific character or idea.

I thought it would be fun to start this off with the definition, just in case there is someone reading this that had no clue what it means. Once I read this definition however, I had to adjust my thinking just a bit. My understanding of the term had this happening only at conventions or something of the like. But according to this definition, Zack – the main character of this story – had a better idea of the term than I. Though I will admit, he did get rather creative in the “performance art” part of the definition.

Now that we understand what cosplay is, let’s talk about fantasy. For instance, I think that is the subgenre that this story could go in. I mean think about it. Not only does Zack dress up in costume to give his lady a hot fantasy lover – or two, but he actually comes up with the idea. All. On. His. Own. *sigh* Forgive me, but my experience is not with guys who actually come up with wonderfully creative ideas to please me. Hence I read. But, this was just so cool even though it was more fantasy to me than potential reality.

Zack knew he wanted to do something special for Reese’s birthday. I mean, he actually remember when her birthday was and that this one might be special for her. He gave it a lot of thought, did the research, and executed a very special day for his very special lady. *sigh* Every woman’s fantasy. In my humble opinion, that makes Zack the real hero of the piece. Why? Well because he didn’t particularly get her geeky side to begin with. But for her, he dove in and created this special day. *sigh* My newest book boyfriend!

This is a must read for anyone who likes erotic romance – period. Do not worry about the geek factor. Concentrate on the hot guy going out of his way to please his lady. *sigh* That is just so HOT!

I was provided a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

HASH(0x9d29a618) out of 5 stars Fun, hot quick read Jan. 7 2015

Zach has a big dilemma. His long-time girlfriend, Reece, is due to celebrate her 30th birthday and he doesn't know what to do about it. See, Reece is a doctor, and her schedule is too tight and unpredictable to plan a weekend in Paris, as he would prefer. He wants to get her something totally memorable, and the idea sparks: Reece loves comics, and she's a goner for the Avengers. He visits her fave comic shop and that's when he pieces together a plan--to make a sexy cosplay for his geeky, beautiful, brilliant girlfriend.

Zach orders costumes for Thor, Iron Man, Hawkeye and Captain America, and builds his own Bruce Banner, studying the comic lore for details of each, all in the effort to build an unforgettable seduction for Reece. The birthday surprise? Let's just say Reece is one satisfied lady.

This is full-on erotica, and full-frontal cosplay. Such a fun, kinky, premise and delish steamy scenes. Reece is charmed by Zach's gift, and they make some plans to advance this kink....

Loki anyone?

HASH(0x9d29a9d8) out of 5 stars Sexy, fun geekiness Jan. 7 2015
By Deanna's World - Published on Amazon.com

This story appealed to the geek in me. I grew up reading comic books so anything Marvel themed is going to get me interested. The whole idea of having your boyfriend dress up in your favorite superheroes and then surprise you with an entire afternoon of sexy, cosplaying goodness is very appealing. I thought Lucy did a really good job of incorporating plenty of the Marvel geekiness into the story and managed to really bring a level of authenticity to the story. When Zach visited the costume store and when Reese described her experience going to the comic book store, I had flashes scenes from The Big Bang Theory when the guys would visit the comic book store and the girls would go along, the other guys in the comic book store would just stop and stare and get all weird. This was definitely a fun story to read.

HASH(0x9d29aabc) out of 5 stars I need to try me some cosplay. :) Feb. 1 2015

In order to give a book five stars I require that they must be well written, entertaining, make sense, make me feel deep emotions. Any emotion will do like laugh out loud, cry, sexually stimulated etc. Well let me tell you I laughed out loud, the sex was smokin' hot. The story was well written. This woman has the best boyfriend ever, he thoroughly went way beyond to give her the best birthday gift ever and it was one that was only for her. It showed that he really got who she was and still loved her in spite of her geek tendencies.
