Secrets! And there are plenty of ‘em in a book which is fast-paced, has a solid storyline and leaves everything to the reader’s imagination. The huge plus for me was going in blind. I had absolutely no idea what to expect and believe you me, I’m still wondering what a certain abbreviation means. I love it when an author has the knack for making me step back and think about what is coming next. Eva does this time and time again. And get this. . . I had no idea that this was her first novel! I’d read co-written works of hers with Andrea Smith and love their Yin Yang writing relationship, so therefore my eagerness to read Disheveled was tenfold.

"Are you feeling brave, princess?"

I got the impression that Cole's display of a certain lack of emotion towards his flatmate, Delilah, was because he wasn't on the same wavelength as her. Everything said and done, they’re besties and have been for four years. He loves her just the way she is and I loved him for that. However, she’s not as calculating as him. I presumed that neither of them wanted to rock the boat regardless of hmm. . . friendly feelings! So why may ask when they have the same tastes in movies and are constantly dropping Star Wars quotes to each other at the drop of a hat, act the way they do! I can tell you that they both drove me around the blinkin’ bend! I loved Cole’s subtlety. King of this trait, he is too big for his britches and thinks he has the upper hand. Or does he?

"Not fair! You cannot use Star Wars to get what you want."

Regardless of what Delilah believes to be true, nothing is at all what it seems. This man who wears a suit like a second skin is so dreadfully convincing that I was easily fooled by him.

Sometimes I need a god dose of rom-com in my life and this book fit the bill. It was such an easy and fun story and read like a show I'd enjoy watching. It was hot and sexy, sweet and funny, and I can't wait to read more from this author.

Delilah and Cole have been roommates and besties for 4 years. She's been in love with him almost the entire time but is reluctant to risk both their friendship and her heart by succumbing to his charms. The introduction of a sexy stranger helps her get her groove back, but will it be enough to give her the courage to take a chance on love?

I really appreciated getting a little of Cole's POV, but I would have loved getting more. He was incredibly hot as a character (dirty talker) and I would have liked to get to know and connect with him. I need to know what UCC stands for!! NOW!! The ending implies that there will be more to the story (hopefully it's more about Cole and Delilah because I had little interest in the other characters) and I hope the meaning of UCC eventually becomes clear.

This was a delightfully light read with a touch of smut. The princess does get her prince charming!!

Disheveled is my first read by Eva LeNoir and I really enjoyed the book, although to be truthful you do have to approach the book open minded to fully enjoy Disheveled for what it is in being a piece of fiction as some people won’t necessarily enjoy the aloofness of scenarios and potential dangers the female character puts herself in. I can be open minded and once I ignored that side of things, I was completely drawn in to this sexy roommate friends to lovers romance with a slightly unique plot concept that had me flicking the pages to find out how things would play out. The book is relatively light-hearted with a few erotic scenes and can easily be read in a couple of hours.

Told mostly from Delilah’s point of view, only a couple of chapters at the end come from Cole’s perspective, there is a sweet friendship and connection between the two roommates. However, while there is an attraction there, feelings are swept aside and labelled just ‘friendship’. Delilah, having given up on hoping to find more with Cole, is seeking a new man and gets caught up with online dating as the book explores the theme of not judging just on surface value. It was intriguing how it all played and let’s just say things get pretty hot under the collar for both Delilah and the reader. Both Delilah and Cole were likeable enough modern characters.

Disheveled is a well written, steady to fast paced, light hearted erotic romance that is relatively short but is a full length story with a clear beginning, middle and ending. However, you do have to be open minded with how it plays out with the online dating and meeting up circumstances, although the author does do a good job at highlighting the characters does recognise some real issues that can arise from such romances, even if the behaviour adopted.

5.0 out of 5 stars A MUST READ July 30 2015

I must admit I'm not a reader. But I am a romantic. A very complex romantic that loves seduction, love and passion. So when I heard about Disheveled and Eva LeNoir's journey on writing it based on all of the ladies in the UCC (jealous of that by the way) I couldn't wait for it to be released. I think it's brilliant. It's the perfect read for someone like me. It's easy to follow and understand. It has passion, intensity, drama and real love. I can relate whole heartedly to the princess as I feel like I have known her for years. Dia is a real gem who has a kinky side that people around her wouldn't necessarily understand. With her happy life, the perfect man is out there for her to make her life complete. This book shows u that true love does exist and it can come with seduction and passion. Honestly, cole is my hero. Hot, spicy and sexual. But at the end of the day knows what he wants and will do whatever it takes, however long it takes to get his princess. And I can't wait for the next book in the series. I want them all. As I said earlier I'm insanely jealous of the UCC. I can't wait to meet each one of them and see how their close knit ties bring them all back to tell their stories. Thank u Eva LeNoir for sharing a bit of the UCC with me and crossing me over to the dark side. I can get used to this reading business, I now have a list of books by you that I will be checking out!

Freaken love this story.
I loved it the first time I read it in The Intrigue Anthology and I loved it just as much if not more the second time round.
Eva writes some damn HOT scenes my goodness pass this women a fan scorching hot.
I love the flow there are no boring bits at all and the story is written do beautifully you never want it to end.
I never write a review with details of the story because I like to go into a book cold I hate teasers and I hardly ever read the synopsis I look at the genre and dive in.
So all I can tell you is go ahead and buy this book you won't be sorry. I know I'll be gifting it to a few special people in my life this week.

4.0 out of 5 stars Funny, Witty and Sexy Read! Aug. 2 2015

Fast paced, hysterically funny read. This book had me rolling with laughter. Both of the main characters were a mess and I just loved them. Delilah and Cole are roommates who obviously belong together, but Delilah thinks Cole is a manwhore and won't touch him with 10-foot pole! When Delilah decides she really needs to get some action and joins a dating site, hilarity ensues!

Now let's talk about the loves scenes, shall we? The love scenes were so scorching hot I had to stop reading to catch my breath. The chemistry between Delilah and Cole was palpable and intense!

The supporting cast of characters gave the story depth and added humor. I hope to see stories about each and every one of them, especially RAUL!

I have nothing bad to say about this book. I really enjoyed every minute of it. Eva LeNoir can write witty banter like nobody's business and her writing always leaves me smiling!

I loved this story..It was funny, quirky , adorable and hot!!! WE meet Delilah and her friends and her hotter than hell roommate and secret crush.
Delilah is a gallery owner, beautiful and intelligent, total romantic and awkward, quirky and temperamental too.
COLE is too hot for words, a lawyer and perfect gentleman, with a dirty mouth and so sweet and times.
I loved both their sense of humor and tend I fell for them in this quick story.

UCC......hmmmm, I have been trying to figure out what it stands for. It has a meaning and maybe as the series progresses we get to find out. So for now, what I do know is this is going to be a series about friends who are thick as thieves. Each one of these friends gets her own book. There are 7 girls and each one has uniqueness but their common bond is their friendship. I am looking forward to reading about all these strong and loyal women. So UCC Saga 1.... Disheveled-

Delilah "Dia" Jameson is an art gallery owner and wants to find love. The problem is that she has Cole Sterling as a roommate. He's a lawyer, he's gorgeous, they have been friends forever, and she has loved him forever. But he's a player and Dia need to get over him. So she decides, why not try online dating? But Cole has a few secrets and decides to give Dia some pointers as she tries online dating. You need to read Dia's online experience for yourself, but if I could have that type of experience-SIGN ME UP ASAP!!

This book is not a surprise. It's a friends to lovers story except with a twist. It's a fun and sexy twist. The book is full of quick wit and steaminess. Once you open the book.....the fun, the sex, and the friendship will suck you in!!!

Before ending, I have to mention the acknowledgements.....I loved that the Eva created this series in honor of her friends. What a testament to friendship to create and fun and sexy series with your friends in mind-I LOVE IT!!!! Bravo Eva -You ladies are a great group!!!
