of her life falling apart by the actions of so called Canadian Actor Dean McDermott.
the advice she gives her readers is helpful especially if you have gone through the same
I met my ex when I was 16 yrs old. We got engaged when I was 17 in 12th grade. We
married when I was 18 and I had a son at 20 and a daughter at 22. We were married 43
happy years with normal ups and downs and I was stunned when he told me he was leaving
me because he was tired of a sick wife. He walked out and left me 3 years ago
when I was 61 years old. My kids were married 17 yrs and we had 5 grandchildren and
our 9 year old dog who worshipped him. He destroyed all of us. He left me emotionally
physically and financially bankrupt. It has taken me 3 years to move on in life with a heart
that will always be broken and it has a permanent crack running through it. But as Mary Jo
said in her book "that ship sailed" and I am on a much better Cruise ship second time
I enjoyed every chapter in her book and she enlightened me with her insight.
Thank you Mary Jo Eustace. Your book was well written.

While the author was fairly classy and pretty restrained when discussing her ex, Dean McDermott, and Tori Spelling, you can't help but feel some level of disgust for both of them after reading this book, and it makes Tori Spelling's version of the story (if you've read it) seem pretty nauseating in contrast. I mean, what can you think about a man who introduces his child to his new girlfriend two weeks after abruptly leaving his wife, and then lies to his child about the nature of the relationship? But I digress...whether you have been through a divorce and are looking for inspiration or whether you are more interested in the individuals involved in this story, you will not be disappointed in this book and you will be very impressed with the amazing woman who wrote it.
