5.0 out of 5 stars Didn't want to put it down! Feb. 8 2013

Ok, so I downloaded the first book in this series because it looked like a quick, easy, junk-food for the brain kind of read. I'm far from a teenager, but I still enjoy some good YA drama. I didn't care for the title and really didn't think I would care for the book, but I wound up loving it. Or I think it might be more accurate to say that I became so involved with the many unique characters that I fell in love with them. Even though the first book stands on its own and it's not necessary to read the others in the series, I really wanted to know what became of each of them. I don't spend money on books very often (I'm too much of a tight wad and there are too many books I can read for free.), but I purchased every book in this series and loved them all. The writer really makes you feel like you are part of their group of friends. I cried with them; I laughed out loud with them (many, many times); I fell in love with each and every one of them.

I do need to say that I would not consider this a teen read. There is a lot of partying and alcohol use at a very young age. The sexual content and bad language is limited, but is still prevalent.
5.0 out of 5 stars definitely worth it!!! Nov. 30 2012

I love coming on here and finding all kinds of young adult novels because i am a young adult. when i stumbled across this series thought, ok another decent read and hopefully it will keep my interest because lets be honest not all of them do. That is NOT the case with this series. The way that Julie, the author, writes is so in tune with some of the things going on with kids today. I mean, the way the characters act is actually how teenages act these days, give or take a few things, but its pretty darn close. I can say this because as i read it reminded me a lot like my own high school. I was shocked by the first installment in the series, which is free on here i might add, and ever since I finished it, i COULDN'T HELP BUT PAY for the second, third and fourth books. Definitely worth the time and money!!!!

Julie Prestsater has done very well with this novel, the second in the series. She has reached the pulse of today's high school scene. She knows what high school girls are going through and some of the challenges they face. This novel is truly a representation of high school and teenage life in the early 21st Century.

The laughs just keep coming. Just when you think Can't love this crazy group of friends they pull you right back in. So great to be able to see them grow and learn about themselves and relationships together. Love this series.
3.0 out of 5 stars There is a lot to like about this story as it hits on some more ... July 21 2014

This second book continues the story of Megan and her crew. There is a lot to like about this story as it hits on some more real world high school issues. For parents, know that the drinking continues and there are some more discussions of sex. For young people reading the book, there are some good lessons about friendship, knowing what's important, how you have to work for things you want in your life and otherwise, some fun times had by the crew. IT's a solid second book to the 4 part series.
