Product Description

From the New York Times & USA Today bestselling author of TAPPING THE BILLIONAIRE comes a new three book series of Romantic Comedy standalones.

Dr. Erotic.
That’s what they’ve decided to call me, Scott Shepard, the head of St. Luke’s Hospital Emergency Department.
Just thinking about it makes me smile.
As the new face of the reality docuseries, The Doctor Is In, I plan to take his power and recognition right to the streets of New York City and into the pants of willing women.

Well, that was my plan.

Until her—feisty, beautiful, and addictively sexy Harlow Paige.
A gossip columnist that just loves writing about yours truly, she’s everything I thought I never wanted and then some.
She drives me crazy.
Problem is, she doesn’t want to be anything when it comes to me—not friends, not lovers, not even adversaries.
God, I love a good challenge.
Get ready, Harlow. Love is contagious.

If you have not read the St. Luke's Docuseries - what are you waiting for - I really enjoyed Dr. ERotic. Scott is a really good dirty talker, and he's hot, and he's built, and he's really nice. Frances, dare I say it, kind of reminds me of Thatch, a female Thatch and Thatch makes an appearance, all the bad boys do, (SEE Billionaire Bad Boys series) and if you haven't read that series, well there is no help for you, you are definitely missing out.

I had quite a few laugh out loud moments, I think the best one was at Kinky Boots, and the riding discussion, that was very funny. There were so many laugh out loud moments, I recommend reading this series, and this book, this author, you won't regret it!

4.0 out of 5 stars I've got a bad case of loving Dr. Shephard June 27 2017

Somewhat to my surprise, I loved this book.

You see, I'm a huge Max Monroe fan, but their first book in this series, Dr. OB, disappointed me. I felt like they trod familiar territory, and they seemed to rely too much on their Billionaire Bad Boys characters. I like Thatch, but he had his time, you know? I wanted Max Monroe to trust themselves enough to break away from Kline, Thatch, and Wes. They're good writers. They don't need to use those three characters as their crutch.

Before I started reading this one, I worried that I'd find it lacking in the ways I was disappointed by Dr. OB. That did not happen, and I am ecstatic. Dr. ER reminds me why I love how Max Monroe write together. It's funny, it's sweet, it's scorching hot, and it leaves you feeling good about the characters and story.

In Scott Shephard, Max Monroe have a guy who is sure of himself - and rightfully so. He's a skilled emergency room physician and newly minted reality TV star, and he knows how to play the game. Whereas Will Cummings (Dr. OB) fell victim to the cameras, Scott understands how to make them work for him. He's a womanizer, but he's smart about it. He doesn't let viewers see how he interacts with women. He doesn't use them - he's quite transparent about what he wants and expects - but their expectations beyond the sexy times do not matter to him.

When Harlow shows up in the ER (what brings her there is HILARIOUS), Scott finds himself drawn to her. This unsettles him somewhat. He's used to being the object of infatuation, not the other way around. Harlow, though, makes her disdain quite apparent. She's watched him on the show and, as a gossip columnist, she knows a snow job when she sees it. The kismet that puts them in each other's path a second time is charming and also funny, and the repartee between the two will give your abs a great workout from all your laughing. Harlow is a handful. Luckily for her - and Scott - he's up to the challenge.

Max Monroe build an interesting conflict between the two. It doesn't feel forced, and it makes you wonder how Scott and Harlow will work things out. And then there are the sexy times. Strap on those vibrators, girls, because Max Monroe deliver some scorching hot headboard rocking (quite literally, in one case). All of this passion between Scott and Harlow serves as a foundation for developing a relationship. There are moments in sex when you reveal yourself, and Max Monroe use that effectively here.

Kudos to this writing team for their confidence in this book. Perhaps they have learned to let Thatch go live happily with Cassie and the rest of the gang.
4.0 out of 5 stars I think I need to see the Dr!! <evil grin> June 28 2017

I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.

If haven't read Max Monroe you are definitely missing out. These books have it all, smart men, sassy women, romance, angst and lots and lots of snark.

This book can be read as a standalone, but I wouldn't advise it. You will need to read at least Dr. OB to have a sense of how the docuseries works and how it showcases the lives of the doctors of St. Lukes. That being said, the St. Luke's docuseries also has appearances of the major players from the Billionaire Bad Boys series which this series is a spin-off.

In this installment of the St. Luke's Docuseries, we meet Dr. Scott Shepherd who is the doctor in charge of St. Luke's ER and agreed to be showcased in the docuseries. Scott is a nice guy, a nice guy who has a penchant for one night stands and only with women who know the score. Usually, there are times when his radar is a bit off or he knows it won't end well, but goes for it anyway.

Then one night, after a date from hell, Frances Harlow Paige is admitted to his ER with the most convoluted sex injury he's (or she) has seen yet. There's something about her wit and snark that appeals to him but she's out of there before he can get her number or read her chart.

Harlow Paige is having a bad spell. She's been dating losers and took a chance on a guy her friend recommended and after the worse instance of foreplay ever, she was impaled on his glass headboard and wound up with SEVEN stitches in her forehead. The upside -- she now has an inside scoop on Dr. Erotic. Harlow writes celebrity news for a gossip site and what's hotter than the sun right now? That's right, Dr. Erotic.

The rest of the story takes the reader down many paths but all of them end up at the same place: rooting for the guy and the girl, both of whom deserve love and all it entails.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Bad Date Can Lead to Great Beginnings June 27 2017

I FLOVE Max Monroe and the ability these two authors have to make me laugh while escaping reality....for a bit. Dr. ERotic was so much better than Dr. OBscene! Scott Shepard doesn't care what comes out of the reality show and he lays everything on the line with any woman he hooks up with because he is not your long term boyfriend. Enter Harlow Paige. She shows up in the ER at St Luke's after a really bad blind date setup by her best friend Amanda. Immediately, Scott feels something is very different about Harlow who's first name is Frances. This is important because Harlow writes for a gossip column called Gossip and she uses Scott as her latest story. He doesn't connect the dots until they run into each other at a musical with each other being with their respective parents.

When Harlow continues to reject his advances, it just makes him pursue her that much more. After about the 10th time of asking her out, Harlow gives in. She isn't into long term commitments either after breaking up with her boyfriend where she lost herself and her world revolved around him. So you would think this would be the perfect setup, right? These two go through the dating scene with their struggles because someone is trying to set Scott up and once you find out who it is, I loved to see them get their justice served!

The witty banter and hot sex scenes through this over the top for me and I would definitely give it more than 5 stars if I could. It's a definite recommended read and one of my favorites so far this year.
5.0 out of 5 stars This book is one of those you will happily avoid your real life for, so you can get lost in this story! June 27 2017

Let's talk about me for a moment. My husband is out of town for work and we've been separated less than 5 times in 21 years. We don't do well without each other. At all. As an avid reader, I read one book every 1-2 days. Well yesterday I was so depressed about missing my husband that I couldn't even read. I'd try one book... couldn't get into. Would stop and stare at the wall. NOT GOOD. This night owl even went to bed last night at 8pm so I could try to get another day out of the way until I saw my husband again.

But today I had a little gift on my Kindle. Dr. Er was released! I'm not going to say that this book was so good I totally forgot I was missing my husband and ignored the kids until I finished it, because that might make me look bad, but it's totally true. No worries, my husband doesn't read my reviews and our kids are old enough to make their own sandwiches anyway.

You GUYS! This book!!! I thought Dr. Will Cummings from the first book in the series was my favorite doctor, but he has been bumped out of my #1 spot by Dr. Scott Shepard! And Harlow... I freaking loved her character! I love smart and witty chicks.

This is yet another 5 star book from the authors that are Max Monroe and if you like humor and steam and well written books that can make you forget your husband of 21 years is out of town, READ THIS!

5.0 out of 5 stars Hilariously sexy read!!!! June 27 2017

Hilariously sexy! Witty! So many more words are there to describe everything that Dr.ERotic by Max Monroe was to me. I laughed my butt off, of course you know once you're about to read one their books you will do that. I don't know man but there's something about their writing that will have you hooked from the very first line. I fell deeply in love with Harlow and Scott, their sarcasm was one I enjoyed immensely. These two were made for each other, they were each other's person and to each them come together and realize that was so beautiful to see. I seriously did not want this book to end, I cannot wait to read Dr. Neuro.
