The step-by-step approach in this book is clearly illustrated, allowing my daughter to create some amazing artwork from animals to castles to dinosaurs. It is enchanting to watch your children learn how easy it is to flip to an exercise and choose circles, squares, triangles as a base for their artwork. Drawing along side her is also a lot of fun too. The book does a great job of providing just the right mix of easy and moderately complex projects to inspire young children to draw. As an educator of 15+ years with four children of my own, I highly recommend this book to any parent as a gift to inspire the budding artist.
Worth the purchase!

I have seen this book many times at Michael's and just thought I was cool.
I was right. Though it is meant for children ages 4 and up, artists of all ages and levels could enjoy this book.
Fun and Simple, this book gets one inspired.
Though I wish the templates we made out of something stronger, so that they would last longer, it was a good idea to put them in the book.
All in all this is a great book and will make a great gift for an artist you know.
I highly suggest it because it has good step by step details that can be followed and not like some of the crazy art books with 3 steps and a completed amazing drawing.
