HASH(0x9d18adc8) out of 5 stars beautiful writing, as usual with mr Oct. 20 2014

beautiful writing, as usual with mr. blackwood. it's obvious he was a mystic. that comes out in many of his short stories.
the two main characters are a cat and a parrot and i cared so much about these animals that the ending still haunts me.
therefore, i don't think this work is suitable for young children, because of the very moving ending! Excellent story, though.
