Product Description

Even after teaching permaculture for over a decade, I still found plenty of useful information and tips here. It is packed full of interesting technical details, which as well as being valuable in themselves, serve as thorough reminders of what to include. This is balanced with suggestions on different ways of teaching. She provides us with questions to ask our students that are thought provoking and encourage personal connection and insights. Looby Macnamara, permaculture teacher and author of People and Permaculture

About the Author

Rosemary Morrow is known and revered worldwide for her pragmatic and effective approach to creating permaculture systems across an incredibly broad range of environments. Rosemary has successfully implemented community-scale permaculture systems in such diverse biospheres as Uganda, Ethiopia, Cambodia, Thailand, the Middle East, Australia, and northern Europe, to name but a few. Her knowledge on how to create abundance, food security, and successful sustainable farming models, no matter what the country, is unparalleled in permaculture education today.

HASH(0xa6cbc054) out of 5 stars Classic lesson planning for Permaculture teachers Sept. 24 2014
By Peggy Cadigan - Published on
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
This is simple but complete and helpful for staying on track with a classic lesson plan format. I think anyone planning to teach a course in permaculture would find it beneficial, even if they don't use most of it.

HASH(0xa6cbc2a0) out of 5 stars A practical piece Oct. 1 2014
By William R. Crandall - Published on
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
A straightforwardly organized, practical piece. It assumes some exposure to Mollison or Holmgren and does not go beyond them conceptually; however, it provides immediate practical detail with respect to developing and teaching permaculture classes, and a relatively simple framework for teaching that may not be obvious from works with the depth and scope of Mollison's Designer's Manual.
