Offers an extremely basic and often times, inaccurate and shallow account of the civilizations of the past
Also contains completely false myths and presents them as truth (e.g. "the Dacians were a Germanic people", "Japanese swords were the most refined and impeccable swords and could slice through god knows what", etc)
This is an incredibly well organized textbook that (for once) actually divides the questions into the Knowledge, thinking, application, and communication sections that the Ontario Ministry of Education has included in their curriculum. It is one of the best out there.
