HASH(0xa214d7bc) out of 5 stars Great book but where's the Kindle? Dec 24 2013
By Amazon Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover
I've been teaching Economics for 50 years and this is the best freshman text I have used. The theory and material is sound and up to date. It does break somewhat from the traditional hard line support of all aspects of Capitalism but the basic theory is very much main stream and solid. My problem is that I am teaching in an English language college in a Third World country and because of the logistics of getting books into this country, we are switching entirely to Kindle. This means that if this book is unavailable in Kindle before February, I will have to choose another book.

HASH(0xa214db4c) out of 5 stars A Great Book, but... Aug. 16 2013
By Joel Mc - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover
As long time "student" of Krugman+Wells (I am now 73), I know that the book is great. However, with a price tag of some $160.00 it is not surprising that there are likely few takers even if they have been tempted by the excellent columns and blog. By the time you buy it here in Geneva, only the 1% can afford it and we already know that they don't really like to read such stuff.
