Product Description

Electrohome Archer Vinyl Record Player Classic Turntable Stereo System

ARCHER™
Backed by over 100 years of manufacturing high-quality audio products, Electrohome is pleased to introduce the Archer Turntable Stereo System: a fully automatic turntable with built-in speakers housed in a 60s-style suitcase that seamlessly blends vintage charm with twenty-first century convenience. As phonographic technology evolved into the Swinging 60s, so too did the ability for young people to bring their music out into the world for the first time (without the pain of having to hand-crank a pesky motor). Now you too can enjoy that feeling of independence and effortlessly bring the unique warmth of a vinyl LP with you anywhere there’s a power outlet – visiting with friends, working in the garage, or relaxing on your back porch – without sacrificing the audio quality of your favorite music.
GOOD VIBRATIONS
Hear every warm crackle and subtle nuance of your favorite vinyl records anytime, anywhere with the Archer turntable stereo system’s two built-in, full-range stereo speakers. The rich, high-fidelity analog audio of your vinyl collection delivers a fuller and crisper listening experience than digitally compressed CDs or MP3s are capable of. A fully automatic system means the deck will come to a halt while the tone arm returns to its original position upon the final rotation of a record’s last groove. The belt-driven turntable plays 7, 10 and 12-inch records at three speeds of 33 1/3, 45 and 78 revolutions per minute, so you can rest assured knowing that your entire vinyl library can be enjoyed everywhere.
LET IT BE
Housed in an all-wood suitcase that’s as strong as it is tasteful, the Archer brings a charming retro chic to any surrounding. From a dorm room to backyard family barbeque, its vintage design is inspired by the first wave of 1950s and 60s portable turntables and comes with a convenient carrying handle, while its acoustic cabinet enhances the audio performance.
TIME OF THE SEASON
Enjoying the classic style of a retro 60s turntable doesn’t mean you have to miss out on twenty-first century convenience; play songs from your smartphones, tablets, or USB flash drive using the system’s AUX and USB input. Just as passionate music fans in the 60s were liberated from the trappings of home listening, the Electrohome Archer affords both casual listeners and audiophiles a simple, portable vinyl setup that seamlessly blends the old with the new. For private listening, simply connect your headphones and drift away into the world of vinyl without disturbing a soul.

Worst turntable I have ever heard in my entire life. This is the very first product I have ever returned to Amazon. I am a Prime member and have bought countless items from Amazon in the past. The built-in speakers sound pretty terrible, which was expected. The big surprise however is how absolutely abysmal it sounded when you plugged it into external speakers. It sounds as though you're playing a song on a Gen1 iPhone through a megaphone. There's barely any bass, it's ridiculously airy-sounding, there isn't anything even close to a full tone or sound whatsoever. I tried several different records with the same crappy result. I also tried connecting other devices like my phone to the same speakers using the same cord, and the difference was remarkable. I was getting a full sound with a range of tones when I was listening to the same song being played through aux output on my phone to my external speakers, but this overpriced piece garbage that pretends to be a turntable sounded like utter crap. I tried every variable to ensure that it was in fact this product that was causing this issue. I followed all instructions and exhausted all resources trying to solve this issue. I can't believe this product has any positive reviews at all. You don't need to be an audiophile to know how embarrassingly disgusting it sounds. I will never buy an Electrohome product again in my entire life.

The system was extremely well packaged for safe delivery, & we had it "up and running" in no time at all. If you want to play your vinyl collection in any room of the house, away from your main stereo system, then this unit certainly fits the bill. You won't get the same sound quality that you would with full stereo speakers, but that wasn't expected. You can play LP records with the lid closed, & we found this to be a great feature. For its intended use, this turntable is a great choice at a very reasonable price.

Works great, great value and does the job for casual music for a small room. Not the most bass but was not expected from the product in the first place. Looks great and feels like a quality build. As with almost all record players can skip with new vinyl, nothing a nickel taped to the needle won't fix

I gave only one star because I was disappointed, this turntable skips on old and new 33s, the manufacturer recommends as a workaround to add weight on the tonearm with different coins this is inelegant (for a gift) and not a good solution as it will degrade the sounf of the LP.
I have returned the product and it costed me the shipping to return it.
I will not recommed this product, the specifications and the look are great but unfortunately the quality is not there.

Would not recommend this product for others to purchase. The design and look are just as advertised. Really attractive unit, which makes it's shortcomings even more disappointing. The sound quality is horrible. Given the size of the unit, I was not expecting component system like sound. But, I have a clock radio that has better sound than this product. Also, the player skipped repeatedly on the very first record I played. AND, it was a brand new record. Returned the record player to Amazon one hour after it arrived at my house.

It works ok, but it skips A LOT (especially when I play new records), so I always have to weigh down the arm when I use it. What was more frustrating about this purchase was that it was missing the AC adapter and extra stylus needle that was supposed to come with it! It does the job, but I expected more.
