I would rather keep this around in the medicine cabinet, over Gatorade. However, powdered Gatorade seems to have a far longer shelf life. My Emergen-C expires 1 year from the date of purchase - Just keep that in mind when you're planning out purchase or subscription dates.
The taste is not bad, but Gatorade/Powerade/Vitamin water certainly taste better. While those sports drinks taste like candy, Emergen-C has a kind of alka seltzer, salty taste to it. It definitely goes down fine, but I would not drink it as a treat.
