Spooky and Informative

Very entertaining and informative book on ghostly locals. Read about well known and lesser known allegedly haunted places from around the world, from investigators of the paranormal through first hand accounts.
Not complete enough to call it an "Encyclopedia"

I have this book, and have read it, but it's just not thorough or written in depth enough to imply that it be an "Encyclopedic" reference book. Don't get me wrong, it's a respectable book with great info, but I would suggest it be purchased as a part of someone's collection of books on this topic. Rather than a "Go to" book for the complete listing or understanding or the subject. For instance, better Encyclopedic book on Haunted Places or the subject of ghosts would be "The National Directory of Haunted Places" By Dennis William Hauck, The Encyclopedia of Ghosts and Hauntings by Rosemary Ellen Guiley,

I like reading this book. I have several other Jeff Belanger books.
Great book by a great author

There are so many different writers in this book it's almost insane. So if you're looking for a real flavor of Jeff Belanger, you won't find it 100% in this book. However, the people that write about some of these haunted places are very well informed and have done their homework. It's really interesting to hear the stories and encounters of all these people not only across the country but all over the world. I would buy this book again if it were ever lost or stolen. It's a cool thing to have.
