About the Author

Linda, Louise and Mike Carey are three writers living in North London. Sometimes they write together, sometimes alone.

Louise wrote The Diary of a London Schoolgirl for the website of the London Metropolitan Archive. She also co-wrote the graphic novel Confessions of a Blabbermouth with Mike.

Linda, writing as A.J. Lake, authored the Darkest Age fantasy trilogy. She has also written for TV, most notably for the German fantasy animation series Meadowlands.

Mike has written extensively in the comics field, where his credits include Lucifer, Hellblazer, X-Men and The Unwritten (nominated for both the Eisner and Hugo Awards). He is also the author of the Felix Castor novels, and of the X-Men Destiny console game for Activision. He is currently writing a movie screenplay, Silent War, for Slingshot Studios and Intrepid Pictures.

They share their crowded house with two other writers/artists, a cat, and several stick insects.

Orson Scott Card has won several Hugo and Nebula Awards for his works of speculative fiction, among them the Ender series and The Tales of Alvin Maker. He lives in Greensboro, North Carolina, with his wife and four children.

The book was good. Realtively close to the book. If you haven't read the book, the comic could be a bit hard to follow. All-in-all, as a Card fan, I enjoyed it.

This is the second volume of the Graphic Novel version of Ender's Shadow. Although I think Ender's Game is excellent and original, the re-telling of the same story from the perspective of Bean, a relatively minor character in "Game", is ingenious and to my judgment a more interesting book. Bean is a great creation with an amazing life and personality. From his infancy he struggles to avoid the thread of death-- among his saviors an illiterate whoremonger and a feisty nun. The graphic realization is very well done, much condensed, of course. A fine achievement to keep convincing and believable, as did the original author Orson Scott Card, an incredible story of brilliant little kids who function as military geniuses in a war in which the survival of the human race is at stake. Incidentally, the Graphic Novel of Ender's Game is equally well done.

If you like the Enders saga you will not liek the comic so much. The book as most time is much better. But the art work and cut up stoire is done well. If your a first to the Enders Saga this could get you hooked. I got this as a gift for my little bro to try and get him in to scifi... not sure if it really is working.
