Despite the hefty price you get some distinct advantages with these batteries so if any of the following are important to you, it might be worth the extra cost:

1. Long shelf life
2. Lighter weight
3. Arguably more run time in some or most devices.

I use these in my EDC or Go-Bag lights for both the weight savings and the peace of mind knowing that the light can go unused for years and still power up when needed.

The batteries I received have an expiration date of 12-2039 which is over 20 years away! Best of all, Amazon is selling them at a fraction of what my local retailer sells them for!

If you have an outdoor weather station or sensor like many smart hone devices do now a days you need to use lithium batteries in it because they’re good down to -20°C. It would be great if they were rechargeable but they do last quite awhile so I’ll give them a pass on that.

By far the best batteries I've ever used. Great for outdoor use as even in the cold winter temperatures - has no effect on these. I use the AAA for my GPS tracker on ATV and only have to change once per year. If you're tired of changing batteries, I'd suggest using these lithium batteries. You won't be disappointed.

Don't ever try the cheap China batteries. Tried them in my garage door opener sensor and the sensor didn't work right. The would randomly open or the app couldn't see if the door was closed.
