I bought 3 of these to convert from my old consoles to my hdtv, they all work fine but make sure you have some sort of usb power supply for them, i teated all 3 of the power bricks that were included with the converters and none of them were capable of providing enough power for the converters to operate. I plugged them into both my computer and an old brick from a samsung galaxy s2 and they worked just fine.

Got this on time and work as expected for what it is.
Would buy this again from this retailer.

I bought this to use in my truck on my DVD player to keep the kids from annoying me with the age old "are we there yet". I use it with Netflix as I get tired of hearing the same Disney movies over and over.
This is my second unit as the first eventually burnt out. Do not leave These plugged in long term in your vehicle when not in use!!
My only complaint is the USB power cord is too short. I bought a longer one.

Did what I needed it to do, convert RCA jacks to HD . I'm not a digital guru but I didn't find that it converted the image to HD no matter how I switched the box. Not sure if it's because the box is defective or my signal input isn't strong enough. Remember to purchase a USB power block if you intend to power from a wall as it is not included . All in all I'm satisfied and worth the money to accomplish what I needed to do.

Works very well.I needed it to connect my wii to tv that had no RCA inputs.The devices works well but
the whites are really bright so need to adjust tv brightness and contrast.It is brightest on the main menu the games are not too bad.

I purchased the Mini AV2HDMI up scaler to allow me to connect my Nintento Wii to my new Samsung TV that has not audio jacks in the back. I wasn't able to connect to a power source ypu need a separate connector so I ordered a USB plug. Finally received that today and connected it the Wii. Sadly the up converter does not work. I have no picture at all...sigh

If you are buying a converter thinking this will "Improve" the picture think again.

What these converters do is take the original picture and stretch it to fit you HD TV I have this guy hooked up to my 4k TV for my gamecube and PS2 picture fits the entire TV now and picture quality stayed the same, great buy for $15

The power supply that comes with it doesn't give it enough power to run, so you will need some sort of USB plug like an iPad charger or Samsung charger for it to function. It does a good job at converting. VCRs will cause some slight issues however. Nothing that would ruin the video but it simply can tear the image or stutter when rewinding or pausing or changing format types but when playing video it works perfectly.
