The book provides comprehensive discussions about many emerging challenges and principles related to enterprise software systems. There is a strong emphasis on the role of SOA on web services and data modeling.
I am very interested in the discussions related to DDA and REST architecture and comparisons with different middleware technologies such as SOAP and MOM; their limitations and applicability’s in web development applications. Up to this point I did not have chance to explore all the nitty-gritty details of so many topics addressed in the book, but I plan to do so in the near future.
I highly recommend this book for professionals on software design and architecture specifically in object-oriented web development and enterprise software. The book gives comprehensive discussions of so many related software architectures & technologies, it also provide excellent up-to-date list of references.
