this is a great quality dropcloth! I've had this for 5 years and it's held up nicely. I use it for painting jobs like for walls and I also lay it down underneath my art table when I do paintings as well. It has a nice thick solid texture and paint has never gotten through it. It's saved my floors and tables from getting paint on them. Also I can toss it in the washing machine when done and that makes it easy to reuse. I would highly recommend this product! We bought our first one to use when painting. WHEW! Glad we did because the paint can got knocked over! Didn't seep through as we scooped up as much paint as we could back into the can. And then most of the paint washed out--we didn't try really hard, since it's a drop cloth for painting! LOL! The quality of the fabric used in this drop cloth is very sturdy but not Too thick, washable, and drapes nicely. I then used a couple of these drop cloths to actually make simple curtains for the windows in our garage. It's a great was to have a large amount of fabric for projects. A friend has asked that I make a play tent for her boys! The uses are endless!

This was a very much needed item as I like to spend the weekends doing some type of craft project. Because I was getting tired of buying the disposable plastic, I figured I could get something that could be used multiple times. Yes, I could have easily went to the local hardware or box store and picked up one, but why when I could get a better price here AND have it waiting for me when I got home. :-)

In all seriousness, this is one of those items you can get anywhere, but it does come in hand if you are crafty, need to make a repair, or feel like painting. This size really protects a great portion (if not all) of the area you are working with. You could buy more than one for a larger space and overlap if needed. This dropcloth is very durable and a nice heavy weight. The wind will not attack it like it does with the disposable ones. I am usually outside as my projects involve spray paint most of the time, and this drop cloth is a must.

If you are looking for the right material to help you have less to clean up, this is the item for you. Let's call this 'essential'! That would sum up this dropcloth very well!

We used these drop cloths to make replacement curtains for our popup camper, so I can't say whether they would make good paint drop cloths or not.
However, I can say they work wonderfully as camper curtains.
I originally bought two packages to make the curtains. When I got them (and before washing them), I measured them and found that they were a few inches off from the 9' x 12' measurements in the description which was slightly annoying but not ultimately a big deal. Then, I washed them in hot water and dried them on the hottest setting. Washing them made them more textured and softer and the weave tighter. I actually preferred how they turned out washed. However, the fabric shrank, in some cases, up to 13%, causing me to have to buy another package. Still not a huge deal--just kind of annoying.
Also, a note of caution: these drop cloths do have a seam running up the middle of the fabric (up the 9' length). This wasn't a deal breaker for me (I was planning on cutting them in half anyway), but if you're needing a solid piece of 9'x12' fabric, these aren't for you.
They don't wrinkle easily (which is great for popup camper curtains). The fabric is thick, and the color is a nice creamy off-white.
I think I'm most happy about all the money I've saved; you can't find fabric this inexpensive at the yardage store.

This is a very ordinary item, so normally there wouldn't be much to say besides the fact that it does a very good job in keeping items covered and protected from paints. For that purpose it definitely gets a 5 stars.
However what really struck me when I opened up the package and removed the cloth from its wrapper and slid it on the floor, is the beauty of this item. I wanted to pick it off the floor and upholster some chair or couch with it. I couldn't stop thinking of all the creative things that could be done with it and I'm sure many already have, but for me the beauty, strength and affordability of this huge cloth was an unexpected surprise. Another 5 stars!
