Oh ..said Sid - and now the Tarzan noble character of my childhood is Racial prototype for White man supremacy..? This book really fill the vacuum in white male mind . Really character building analyse for Modern post industrial men. TO read this brochure what is rather overpriced , to relate to books what are mentioned and their authors say more about our screwed up time of Politically correct literary criticism bureaucritized. . Perhaps this is just only tip of politically correct Rome Club Eugenic blue print iceberg. And for it I cannot say what is more fantasy Marx das Capital or this psychoanalyse of literature from the distance of 90 years. But do not underestimate - The Tarzan and H.G. Wells have more to do with formative ideas of modern men and women than we would admit to ourselves. But tell me that the readers of Bible were also character deprived by reading about the Ahab and Jezebel . There is many things what human politically correct mind in our digital times have got in the skeleton closet - but all readers should read it with little distance . To analyse this way children story of Margaret Mahy and Brothers Grimm fairy tales one would read about suppressed psychological disorder and sexuality in her psychotherapeutic narratives for the children. What is missing from this analyse is Satanic Verses. Popular culture for today is not popular as it was - but sublimative market way pornographic- salacious . And it contrary to Tarzan's, Hemingway and others do not add to joy of reading - indeed today eugenic way to fool New Being for New age.. by references without experience. Good book to know what is on their minds.
