Clendenen has written an excellent both on Hildegard's incredible wisdom and the work of Carl Jung. An excellent exposition of the connection between spirituality and psychology.

This is a great book. It reveals how some societies have hidden the truth. St. Hidegard was a woman with great spiritual knowledge and the ability to help others with mental disease. Society kept her teaching a secret. I really enjoyed the book and recommend it to all.
HASH(0xa384d564) out of 5 stars Giving light to a great ignored woman Dec 30 2012

I wanted to learn more about her, and find in this book, a lot more than I was waiting for. Philosopher, healer, psychologist, mystic, musician. We also can elicit some social values beneficial for some women of the time, that soon would be erased, with the arise of the Santa Inquisition.
