The table is made of a solid, dense plastic with sturdy aluminum legs that fold in. There’s a lock to keep the table extended when in use, so it doesn’t accidentally fold up. Very durable construction. When folded it’s very narrow, easily slides into a closet or under a couch. We use it for a dining table when lots of guests are over, and cover it with a table cloth. We also use it for the kids’ lemonade stand.

Good quality table but the hardware leaves something to be desired. The screws that secure the frame to the table started falling out the first time I used it. I replaced the screws with proper machine screws and nuts and expect to get years of use out of the table.

When this arrived and we took it out of the box, the first (and only) time we opened it plastic clamps holding the legs in place snapped off. They are made from such cheap plastic that they are not elastic at all, and are guaranteed to fail. Far worse, when we tried to extend the legs, they are built such that it is impossible to open them: a cross piece interferes with the legs, scrapping the paint and preventing the legs from opening more than 20 degrees or so. There is no way to remove the cross pieces, as they are spot welded in place. We're returning for a refund: save your time and money and don't buy this product.

Do NOT buy this product. Even if yours is built correctly, the material is so bad it will break on you.
