Product Description

Monica Murphy returns with her most beloved characters, Drew and Fable, in this eBook original 40,000-word novella that brings her bestselling series full circle.
Fantasy. How I ended up with NFL player Drew Callahan, the guy every woman wants, is beyond my wildest dreams. All I know is that once he chose me as his one and only, I sure wasn’t looking back. I had past wounds and he showed patience and concern—even taking responsibility for my messed-up kid brother. Now, once again, he’s found a way to blow my mind: an exotic wedding and honeymoon miles and miles away from home. What else could a girl ever ask for?
Reality. Now the honeymoon’s over. Drew’s football schedule takes him on the road constantly, while I need to stay put and look after my brother until he finishes high school—because God knows our sorry excuse for a mother won’t. I know Drew loves me with all his heart, and I’ll always be over the moon about him. This just isn’t how I imagined our life as newlyweds . . . dealing with the distance, missing him all the time. But we’ve gone through hard times before. We can get through this, too, right? We’re Drew and Fable, together forever. At least I hope so. . . .
Praise for Monica Murphy’s One Week Girlfriend

REVIEW: DREW AND FABLE is the latest storyline (novella) in Monica Murphy’s contemporary, new adult series focusing on twenty something Drew Callahan and Fable. The storyline advances the series four years as we watch our leading couple fall deeper in love while contemplating their future.

The premise follows Drew as he embarks on his professional football career as a quarterback for the San Franciso Forty Niners. While Drew is away, Fable must learn to live as a professional athlete’s wife-always the focus of gossip and the paparazzi, Drew and Fable will be forced into the spotlight on more than one occasion.

Fable’s brother Owen plays a more significant role in this particular novel in preparation for his upcoming storyline to be released later in 2014. At the end of the book, Owen will be in his second year of college and becomes a more integral part of Drew and Fable’s life. And Drew and Fable’s life is to about to become a lot more busy.

Monica Murphy has written an emotional storyline that will answer many questions; close some doors and open several others. For fans of the series, Drew and Fable Forever is the perfect story with just the right amount of sensuality, love and happily ever after.

HASH(0x9af57e7c) out of 5 stars I loved it. Jan. 14 2014

I was really happy with the way this book took Drew and Fable's relationship forward. They both still dealt with very life changing events and, as all couples have to do, they learned how to lean on each other and get through them together. Monica Murphy writes characters with flaws that we can all relate to and for that she should be commended.

HASH(0x9af580c8) out of 5 stars The Autumn Review for D+F Forever Jan. 14 2014
By The Autumn Review - Published on
Format: Kindle Edition
First impression:
This was a must-read for me! Drew and Fable are one of my absolute favorite couples.

The story:
In this story, we get to see where Drew and Fable's life is going. Drew has been drafted into the NFL and with that comes new stresses in their relationship. The fame, the travel, and the unexpected interest in their personal life can be taxing at times. Plus, they are taking care of Fable's brother, Owen. That's a lot for a young couple starting their life together. Let alone, two people who started off in difficult circumstances.

So, throughout the course of the novella, we see how they deal with their new life. One thing is certain though, they love each other and Drew always puts Fable first.

The characters:
I literally could go on and on about how perfect this couple is. They are seriously one of my all-time favorite couples. Ever. I love Drew. I love Fable. I love them together. What I love the most about their relationship is the fact that they put it first. They know, without a doubt, that they are meant to be together. They work through their issues as a couple. They truly have a partnership and the kind of love that lasts.

I loved seeing their wedding. It made me cry. I loved seeing how Drew took Owen on as his family and became a good role model for Owen. Then...there is a very special part in this novella that made my heart soar even higher. Dramatic, much? Yes, but seriously, it was absolutely perfect. I think when you read it, you'll know what I'm talking about.

This novella was everything I had hoped it would be. Drew and Fable are the kind of couple that just make you happy. It was bittersweet to know that this was the last story for them, but I'm comforted in knowing that we'll see them again in Owen's book.

Speaking of Owen...I am DYING for his book! I've always liked Owen. The end of February can't come soon enough!

If you haven't started this series yet, you must! It's one of my favorites and is always among my top recommendations.

Favorite Quote:
~“Are you checking me out?” she murmurs against my lips just before she pulls away.

“Wearing something like that, you knew this was going to happen.” I give her hand a tug and yank her down so she’s sprawled across me, nothing but hot, smooth skin and silk and lace fabric. “And wait until you see what I’m wearing.”
~"Your unconditional love, baby. You never backed down. You never gave up on me. Ever. And I needed that. I was so screwed up but you never let that stop you, thank God."

HASH(0x9af58308) out of 5 stars Love Drew and Fable! Jan. 14 2014
By K. Bias - Published on

Monica Murphy ripped my heart out in One Week Girlfriend and gave me what I thought was Drew and Fable's happy ending at the end of Second Chance Boyfriend. But with this novella, she continues their beautiful love story and it made my heart happy.

We have seen this couple go through so much confusion, pain, drama, and heartbreak. And now we get to see them moving on and happy. I loved how the author gently reminded us of some of the major happenings in the other books so that they were fresh in our minds without it feeling like she was retelling the whole story. We met them as a broken rich boy with major demons, and a girl with a bad rep who took money to pose as his girlfriend for one week in order to help take care of her brother. They forged a real relationship, understanding and deep connection and helped each other move forward and heal. They have been together and apart and now plan to be together permanently.

I just totally love Drew. He has conquered his demons for the most part, mended fences, and is still head over heels for his girl, Fable. He is living his dream career, has such a bright future, and wants to share it. His acceptance, love, and support for Fable's younger brother Owen is remarkable. His journey from a stoic, tortured boy to an open, warm, devoted man melts my heart.

Fable is still fiercely protective, sassy, caring, sweet, and outspoken. She has overcome a hard past and has basically raised her brother. She is the girl from the wrong side of the tracks, and sometimes she still marvels at the fact that she has Drew and is living in a way she is not accustomed to. But she is real and genuine, and her loving personality shines through.

They are moving on with their lives. They are taking the next steps in their relationship. They are dealing with Drew's commitments, success, and celebrity status. They are still essentially parents to a maturing Owen who is in High School and college during this story. So they have pressure and stressors like most couples. But we get to see how they deal with their changing lives.

There are a few tests and tribulations they face, but mostly this book lets us finally see this couple find their happy place together. They both so deserve it after the pain from their pasts. I loved seeing their progression, maturity, and growth individually and together. Of course there are still fears, insecurities, and misunderstandings, but Drew and Fable have become so much stronger together.

I absolutely adore this couple. This story had me enthralled from the fist page and I loved every bit of it Even though this was a novella, it covered a lot of ground and felt like it gave us a complete, fresh story that was worthy of telling. I loved getting both of their points of view and seeing their innermost thoughts, emotions, and fears. This book made me laugh, tear up, swoon, and hold my breath. It was romantic, sexy, humorous, and heart warming. It had a little drama and tension, but it did not overshadow the sweet happy moments. I feel like it did justice to this couple and will be enjoyed by the fans of this series.

I cannot wait for Owen's continued story in Four Years Later. His growth and issues were touched upon in this book we we have a little more insight about Owen going into his own story. And since I cannot get enough of Drew and Fable, I hope they pop up in his book as well.

Thanks to Monica Murphy, Random House Publishing Group - Bantam Dell, and Netgalley for providing me with an arc in exchange for an honest review.

HASH(0x9af58584) out of 5 stars Loved it so much!! Jan. 14 2014

This novella… oh my goodness was it fabulous. I absolutely adore Drew and Fable and I would categorize them as one of my favorite new adult couples of all time. They just fit so well together and complement each other’s strengths and weaknesses. Fable is Drew’s rock and he spends every waking moment thanking her for it. What I wouldn’t give to find a man like Drew in my life!

Drew and Fable have been through a lot together and their road to happily ever after has been paved with a lot of heart break and struggle but through it all they have developed a love that is so strong, nothing can break it. I love Fable’s devotion to her brother, her friends and especially to Drew. She always puts the people she loves ahead of herself and she proves this by the way she juggles taking care of her brother and supporting Drew in his career.

Drew and Fable define true love and I love the passion that exudes from them as a couple. They have incredible moments together that are both steamy and sensual and I really like how strong their relationship has become. They still have obstacles to overcome together and as the years go by, they definitely get complicated. However, they are both done running from each other and instead are taking on life together. They conquer all their problems together and they take it all one day at a time.

I loved the progression of the novella and the pace was excellent. There was a huge time lapse from the beginning to the end but it was done very well and I think Monica touched on the most important moments in Drew and Fable’s lives during that time. This novella is a bridge in time between Second Chance Boyfriend and Four Years Later, which is Owen’s story. The closure for Drew and Fable is bittersweet and the perfect ending to their love story.

Oh Monica Murphy, what did you do to me. As I am typing this review there is a huge smile on my face because of how happy this book made me feel. As I read Drew + Fable Forever , I couldn’t help but remember what makes these two characters so great and why I love them so much. If you are a fan of One Week Girlfriend, and Second Chance Boyfriend you have to read this novella. Drew and Fable are each others rocks. Their feelings for each other never waver and it is beautiful to see. The chemistry and love between Drew and Fable is stronger than ever.

Monica Murphy, gives us a glance into their lives as they take the next steps in life together. Jen and Owen make appearances throughout the book, which adds a nice layer to the novel. It’s nice to visit with them as well. Although this story is a novella, you never felt that you were missing storyline because of the length of the book. The story felt complete and that is sometimes hard to do with novella so kudos to Monica Murphy. This is a beautiful finish to Drew and Fable love story, and it had my heart jumping for joy. Their happily ever after was perfection and I am just glad that Monica Murphy gave another glimpse into there lives. There is only one appropriate word I can think of to end this review and that is MARSHMALLOW.
