Product Description

Product Description

A shipwreck; a deserted island; a horde of zombies; a single family fighting to survive.

Trapped aboard a ferry destined for their new life in the Philippines, the Robinsons learn of a virus sweeping across the planet, turning people into flesh-crazed zombies. Early symptoms include a hacking cough, shortness of breath, and deathly pale skin. The exact same symptoms as a fellow passenger on board...

The classic tale, inspired by Robinson Crusoe, written by Johann David Wyss, adapted by Perrin Briar, is an adrenalin-pumping post apocalyptic fiction Kindle story.

What zombie books fans are saying:

"Are zombies real? You'll believe they are after reading this!"

"I feel like I survived a zombie apocalypse!"

"You'll finish thinking you caught the zombie virus!"

From the writer who brought you the post apocalyptic fiction series Z-Minus comes this powerful first part in a new post apocalypse adventure.

What a great spin, although I want a sequel after how it ends.

swiss family robinson vs the zombies, good short story, but could have been fleshed out more. Action scenes were for the most part riveting, but occsionally touch too maudlin/overly dramatic

HASH(0xa02aefb4) out of 5 stars Mild Zombie Story but Good April 10 2015

I never saw the Swiss Family Robinson or read it, so I can't judge how close the parody is. The story held together well. It didn't have an explanation to how the world became what it was. The characters were likable. What I did appreciate about this story is that though it was a zombie story, it didn't get too violent or depressing. In fact, it was rather mild...though there was a powerful scene when it describes how the zombies arrived at the island. That was my favorite part.

HASH(0x9f7e021c) out of 5 stars The Swiss Family Robin DON by Perrin Briar March 28 2015

Briar has authored a very good young adult tale of a family who escaped the mainland
during the zombie apocalypse. They find themselves on an uninhabited island. Life seemed easy......
I have read other works by Briar and found myself quite satisfied with a good tale. Briar tales are unique.
This particular tale ended on a cliff hanger. Great tale for young adults.

HASH(0x9f7c5b70) out of 5 stars Good for young adult zombie lovers March 7 2015

I did enjoy this book but I feel it would be better received by a younger market. (I'm a granny) It was a well told story of the favorite islanders we all grew up reading only with a bit of a twist. I have not read the authors other books that are the backstory of this tale & I may have to.
