Product description

Product Description

Felix Jameson is working hard to get her outback hospitality business off the ground. Building cabins, leading trail rides and enticing tourists means she hasn't much time for distractions--and that includes romance. But when she meets Josie, a drifter who picks up casual work as she goes, Felix is intrigued and attracted. Josie asks Felix to board her horse, Flame, and Felix is delighted. Not only can she use the extra money, but it means she will see a lot more of Josie. Felix finds Josie fits in well into her life, and for the solitary Felix there's finally the possibility of romance. But there's something suspicious about Flame, who bears an uncanny resemblance to a valuable stolen racehorse. Felix knows she is falling hard for Josie, but is Josie all she seems, or is she mixed up in shady dealings?

The third book in the "Girl Meets Girl" series--standalone novels with interconnecting characters.

Another really enjoyable book by Cheyenne Blue. Bringing together the characters from her previous books from Girl Meets Girl series just add to the fun. You not only get to read about new characters but to catch up with the rest of the gang. Looking forward to reading more books by this author.

I really enjoyed Fenced in Felix. I loved the Australian setting. I learned a lot. I thought Felix, Josie and their friends were great characters. The mystery of the horse was a great plot.

This book starts out well and has a bit of mystery to it, but the end seemed to drag on and on. I liked the "who done it" aspect but I think it could have been tied up sooner. Still a good read though.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not for me Nov. 30 2016
By Rihbones - Published on
Format: Kindle Edition
Felix and Josie are the main characters.Felix owns a ranch in the outback which offers trail riding and camping.Josie is a new bartender at the local hangout. When Felix first sees Josie she describes her as "not graceful or pretty. If she were a horse, she'd be a stockhorse rather than a thoroughbred".
Is that a good thing?

Josie has a secret that causes a lack of trust between them.A lot of time is spent by Felix wondering what the problem is and does she dare take a chance on Josie since she seems to move frequently from one place to another?
I had a tough time finding the appeal of either of these characters.

I did like the description of the camping business Felix is struggling to work into a livelihood. The Australian outback weather sounds like months of a dry season followed by months of heavy rains and flooding. No easy conditions to earn a living.

Other than the details of Outback living,I can't say I really enjoyed this story.
Too much angst and no feel for the attraction between the 2 main characters.
