Product Description

New York Times Bestselling Author

From America's beloved storyteller, Barbara Delinsky, comes a classic novel of a woman on the hunt, a man on the run, and one thrillingly romantic hideaway…

Chelsea Ross is renowned for her success at locating missing children. But when a wealthy Boston socialite asks her to track down her 40-year-old son, Chelsea is thrown for a loop. The runaway "child" in question, Samuel Prescott London, is a powerful executive who's apparently gone AWOL south of the border. Posing as a tourist, Chelsea manages to find Sam in the outskirts of Cancun—hot, handsome, and happy to be far from the corporate rat race. Chelsea promised Sam's mother she'd bring him back home. But after a few days of playing tourist by his side—and spending nights in his arms—she's not so sure she's ready to give him up…

5.0 out of 5 stars Really enjoyed this read Sept. 24 2014

Really enjoyed this read. I loved to hate Sam's overbearing and manipulative mother, and I believe the root of all Sam's problems and his need to "escape" and disappear. When she hires Chelsea to "retrieve" him from the Myan village he's found refuge in, it's predictable that the two will fall for each other, but it was interesting to have the story develop as well as their relationship. I believe Chelsea even becomes taken with the simple life style the Myan people enjoy and cherish so much. Even though they have very little, they are happy and content. Learning a bit about the Myan culture was an added plus to the romance that insues between Sam and Chelsea. I especially thought the part where Sam takes Chelsea to the hidden cave for a very private "adventure" was extremely romantic and steamy. This is one of Delinsky's better books and recommend it highly. It's a great beach read, or book to take along on vacation.

I usually enjoy Barbara Delinsky, but I found this story to be shallow and predictable. None of the characters was particularly compelling. I still finished the book, but I felt it could have been so much more.

I am a huge Barbara Delinsky fan ... I found this book to be interesting, very light easy reading. Although not the type of book that keeps you hanging on the edge of your chair, and keeps you up all night to find out what happens next, as I said it's easy reading, light and interesting. I did NOT put it down and not finish it, and I've done so with other books by other writers. I would recommend this book if you need some down time to relax!

So true to life as it should be. A dreAm of a story. The silver fox keeps you guessing if he is really a good guy.
