I returned this book, because there isn't much information in it that isn't available for free on the The National Archives web site. What I expected was more in depth exploration of the records themselves. I have a record that I downloaded from the TNA and I was hoping this book would help me decipher. It has a lot of abbreviations that I don't know what they mean. This book did not help with that. For me it was a waste of money.
